The dinner I made for the family last night. Tilapia seasoned with a variety of herbs topped with a special citrus orange/lime glaze sauce. Served with a side of brown rice and grilled red/green bell peppers.˟I'd like to thank Chefyota (Mark) for giving me this delicious recipe. It came out great!
I'll definitely save this recipe for another day. Now I finally know how people get that citrus taste in their fish! Gotta love zest and that citrus sec.

This was my very first time ever making fish; that isnt deep fried of course! I'm trying to loose some weight and get in shape again. So i'm trying to get in on my old high school work outs but i really gotta cut down of the crap foods i eat. And if i plan to do that then what better way then to eat delicious food that is still great for you lol anyway thanks again Mark.

My pleasure, bubba! I LOVE to help ppl, especially my friends and family, by explaining not only a recipe,..... but also by explaining how to cook it and why certain things need a certain method... And, why and how chemical reactiona happen, like the way that was water y and QUICKLY became sec..... Or how meats shred initially when trying to move them too soon.....but that they "release" as they reach a certain point, just like on a grill.... (probably not quite enough oil or a not so non stick pan? .... but it's a very specific way to turn fish, Lol)....

Was good talking to ya, Richard. Looks yummo.... and as I said, it works great, even leftovers, in a soft taco with shredded cabbage, orange segments, cilantro and sour cream with a little Sriracha or Ombeck! (Gotta ReUp on those, don't forget ...)

That's a handy find. My buddy tracked down who made the relays for Toyota at that time and is ordering us some upgraded ones. I'll get the name of the company from him.

Thanks guys. I'm far from being a pro. but i do cook a decent meal. Ask Chefyota. He's had my food before on our last wheeling trip. I guess anything is delicious when you marinate it for 3 days lol

Junk4u I was kind of forced to learn to cook at a very young age. My mom started working when i was in elementary school. So i had to start learning basic stuff at about 4th grade then more complicated things with her directioions written out throughout middle school. Learned to BBQ with my dad in High school. and then i began to invent or get curious/creative with foods after high school. and that is some of my better stuff. like this BOMB ARSE AVOCADO TURKEY BURGER I MADE LAST YEAR! mmmmmmmm summer is on its way cant wait to make these again. Are those for all relays? cuz i have 3 power window relays

And yea it is a good find. i might have to buy one. if the Auto Electrician can fix my power window master switch then i will. But wanna see if this button is at least fixable first.

BTW.... Did you change your name? Wasnt it CDN-Smokejumper or something like that? and how did you change it?

Ive got a nice update for you guys. Today My Dad, neighbor(Ruben) and I installed my front 4" lift All Pro Leaf springs. Put in the proper 12" Walker Evans shocks up in front and welded on driver side perch spacer and welded the rear spring hangers.

Here are the pix.

The rear 10" shocks that i had in the front her are now fully extended with these new springs.

These are the 12" ones now.

Here is the finished result with these springs.

I'm not too big on the whole axle moved forward look. But whatever if it performs better then i'll just deal with it. I'm sure ill get used to it. Plus im sure when the rear gets lifted up it wont look so bad. **crossing fingers lol**
Here's a close up

Going another few inches also comes at a cost.
Looky here as you can see i need to have my drive shaft extended yet again! Gotta have it extended 3&1/4 inches on top of what i had already extended it before.

Here is the wheel well height away from my 33" tire. Its about 12.5 inches.

....and from the floor to the fender. about 44 & 3/4 inches

I wish i would have take before pix of the old height with a measuring tape like these previous ones but i can definitely say this is one huge difference. These are my before pix with the same exact 12" travel shocks in front.

As you can see in the previous picture i only had about 1" extended and now they're about 3&3/4 inches extended. That doesnt mean the whole leaf springs gave me 2&3/4 lift either. Because the whole axle was moved forward at least 2-3 inches. So I'm sure that also has something to do with why its more extended.

Dad inspecting the rear to see how he was gonna weld on the rear spring perches. (before Ruben came with the measurements based off his truck with same leaf springs.)

Distance between old and new perches is about 7&7/8 inches.

Tomorrow i will be taking in my front drive shaft for the 2nd time to get extended the 3&1/4 inches. Then i wanna go to O'Reily Auto Parts and but some GRADE 8 bolts and nuts. Remember I said i wanted to add the overload spring from my stock toyota leafs to the new Allpro leaf springs. Reason for this is because i have a hard top, i have my tire, My band will start playing some shows pretty soon and im gonna be loaded with speaker materials, but most of all, i wanna be able to handle driving with my truck all loaded up on those weekend camping offroad trips. I can sacrifice a little bit of flex for some spring strength. i really dont mind it. Ive seen what Rubens truck can do and he did this same exact mod to his leaf springs and he gets through EVERYTHING! So if he can do it and doesnt sag while doing it then i will do it too.

Here is the thickness of my Allpro leafs It's about 2&1/4 inches
Name: 20130516_204939_zpsa913eac5.jpg

Here is the Stock overload spring. Measured at 0.5"
Name: 20130516_204812_zpsadfd9500.jpg
Views: 47
Size: 75.6 KB

So I need to find a bolt that is at least 3" long maybe 3&1/4 to be on the safe side. It's 2&3/4" for all the leafs combined plus about 1/4" for my nut and ill just cut off any tip that is left over if any.

I know i know this was a lot of shtuff but it was a very much needed update for me. Tomorrow if im able to find the bolts and nut i will install the new modded leaf springs. and if we have time we will install my the 4xInnovations Sliders! if i dont get to them tomorrow then ill definitely get it sometime this weekend.
Thanks for reading goodnight

Lol this just cracked me up this morning. I had envisioned clouds as you look outside of the windows. DONT LOOK DOWN IF YOURE SCARED OF HEIGHTS!
But in all honestly I am definitely going to need some sort of collapsible latter or step to keep in the truck at all times because I'm only 5'8" and the hood reaches my chest right now. Lol

It's a bit higher then I expected it to be. But its ok. Just means more clearance. And if i ever decide to go 35's thatll be even more them what i have now lol. and yea they did. I mounted them in the same exact place as the other ones and that was the result. Lol I heard from sombodys thread that having it like that is actually a good thing for off roading. I don't know from who or if it was true. But I should look into that. Having the tires that forward ill probably require me to cut a little bit off the plastic parts of my front bumper so it doesn't hit. Wondering if I should just sell it all together just to be able to give them to somebody that needs them. After all I am gonna upgrade to the CBI front bumper anyway. And that bumper goes up in an angle toward the wheel well. That bumper would be perfect for the way this axle is moved forward right now.

Mines like tht too, it helps offroad. Because when u compress your spring and stuff ur wheel, the wheel will actually move back and should fit in the center of the wheel well when fully stuffed. If your wheel was centered at normal height it wouldc then hit the firewall when stuffed

Ah I see thank you for that info. And yea mine was centered when it was normal height. I'ma have to flex the crap out of it to see if it goes dead on to the center of my wheel well.

Yea. It'll be a while before I get it though. Definitely need that tire carrier before anything else I get. I'd like to se if 4xInnovations can ship me one already made. But if have to see how much shipping something that large would come out to.

Last I checked the top of the roof rack sat at about 7'2" - 7'3"

This was prior to installing these new springs. Ill make sure to re measure it again once the rear springs get in.

Looks good. You still have wait for the springs to settle and the wheel will move back a little. You need to flex it out but I think the front shock is too long unless u want more drool than compression. Also did u inform all pro you have a v6. It makes a difference.

According to All Pro i should have 3.5-4.5" of the shock exposed when installed. and i have that much on all the shocks now. I did forget to mention to them that i had a v6.

You could put an ARB and a winch up front to even it out some more

Looks good though! I'm not really sure what moving the axle forward does but I see it a lot (in signatures, etc) so it should have its benefits, hope you enjoy it!
