With the 4spd, you should have the 8" axle so you can drop 4wd 3rd members into your axle. Should make the right gears a bit easier to find. I would suggest 4.56 but i'm not sure that would be right...

From your description, it sounds like the rust is fairly localized along the door seams, which is actually one of the easier rust spots to manage yourself if you’re planning a full repaint later....
