I went to YotaMasters today to pick up my rear 3rd. Talked to Erick about Toyotas for a good long while. And the owner of this beautiful 3rd gen pickup came to take his truck home. Very freekin nice. Check it out guys.

That was one of the cleanest 3rd gen pickups I'd ever seen other then Greg's
------------------------------------------

Here is my 3rd member. I'm happy that they took the time to clean it up and repaint it for me. Thats one thing that I wanted to do myself before installing it. So I'm glad he went out of his way to do that when he didn't have to at no extra charge. Also happy he met up with me on saturdays when they're only open Mon-Fri. Great customer service!

We installed the 3rd and realized that the rear driveshaft was perfect. It works and only needed to be extended about 1/4". It was a perfect length. So I only need to worry about my front driveshaft. I'm happy now because that's one chunk of $$$ that I won't have to spend. Sweet huh

After installing both axle shafts we bled the brake lines greased the shackles and added the diff fluid to both axles.
Aired up my 3 rims and tires and installed them lol. I'm just waiting on his son to bring over the 4th rim and tire. The SAS Is finally done guys! Check out the pix of My new to me rig.

As u can see my rear driver side tire Is missing still. But this truck looks freekin awesome right now guys! I love the wheel width yes they do stick out but I honestly think it looks great. Perfect width for my liking. I have the stock front 4Runner look. I'm really liking the outcome of it.

Tomorrow we will install the missing rim and tire. And I will take the truck for an alignment and wheel balance. I can still drive my truck around so long as the rear driveshaft works. Then monday ill tale the front driveshaft to get extended 3". I can't wait guys!
I want to wash the teuck tomorrow too. It is filthy. Give it a nice wash and one coat of wax. Its gonna be really sweet. Seriously can't wait to take it offroad. We should be having that Big Bear trip in about 3 weeks. Btw guys, in case you're wondering. The 4 leaf springs worked perfectly. The rear does not sag. The whole truck is pretty much balanced. And the top of the hood stayed about chest high. Its more or less about 1" shorter then Ruben's 85 pick up.

Yota Masters For Suspension, transmission work?

Hi Richard,
Good job! So after this experience would you recommend Yotamasters if and when I decide to re-gear? How about if I decide to upgrade to Old Man Emu suspension? Is this something YM does, too?
TIA

Thanks everyone. I'm really happy how the SAS came out too. Really stoked about doing a Big Bear trip within the next month. Can't wait to give'er a go.

Today I gave her a bath.
Only problem is that the rear driver side rim is a stock toyita 15x7 rim so It really stands out. Still the right tire size just noy the same rim. Plus it ain't black like the other 3. But it will have to do for now. Gonna make a trip to 4wheelparts soon to match up the 4th tire and my spare.

Anyway here she is squeeky clean.

Maybe sometime soon. Been really craving one of those wet burritos from the Alberto's Mexican food place by your house.

Hahaa I don't think I'd wanna go SFA if I had all that money invested into a crazy BlazeLand kit like yours lol. Cost a little less then what I did. But still up there in cost. Thanks for the compliment. I definitely didn't have planned to install some nasty used parts anyway. So yea its definitely something that I saw had to be done.

Ray. I highly recommend these guys. My next door neighbour Ruben amd his son both got their 3rds done there and they've been using them for years with no problems. Definitely recomend locking the diffs as well if you're gonna have them opened amd install it. Its all in the same labor. Just provide them with the locker and gears. And In case youre also interested in SAS'ing in the future; they also do a very good job in that too. U seen the white 3rd gen pickup I posted. That was all them right there. Not sure what they charge. But in case you're ever interested here is the number.
YotaMasters: (909) 279-0220 Corona CA.
The guy that helped me was Erick. Very cool dude. But u dont need help to install your leaf springs. That is really easy to do bro. Like mark said u can do that yourself really. Better with 2 people but its really easy.

Omg it's so funny that you say that because today while looking around for an alignment place I saw this guy in a small new fiat and he was really freeking out lol. I was making a turn and I got really close to his midget car and his face read panick! Hahaha.

Also right there in the pix of my truck in the parking lot. There was a guy in a newish JEEP Rubicon with some beefy 31's reving his motor about to pull out. And as I seen his jeep while coming into the AutoZone parking lot I sped up a bit purposely pulled up next to his tiny wittle Barbie car and seen his eyes were all on my truck almosf like they were screaming Oooooooo lol. His mouth was like wow.... felt good getting some attention on the road.

Gotta tell ya though. I'm definitely not used to the loud wack noises those lockers make. I've heard it before. But damn it sounds scary when you're not used to it. Sounds like a loud metal on metal sound and u can feel it pop too. Lol. The first time freaked me out. Luckily I know that that is normal with lockers. Haha. Happened about 2ce just driving around the neighborhood.

Thanks for the offer to help, guys!

She looks good, Richard!

Thanks, Richard and Mark for the info and offer to help. Spending a few hundred for all-terrains (decided on Duratracs based on better reviews than BFG A/T, and the more aggressive tread) this week so will wait for some time before I do the OME. I think that's the best deal out there for a robust upgrade from stock springs.

Ray if u want some A/T tires. I still have my 31/10.5/15 Leman A/T's on the 4 black rims. Let me know if you're interested. They still have a decent amount of tred left. And the sexy black rims. Also check with Grego. Pretty sure he was gonna downsize his tires since he doesn't wheel much. And his definitely had a lot of tred left over. Up to you. Let me know though.
