Those half moons like to leak. I have tried sealant on them and no sealant and still have them to leak every now and then.
On my 88 build, I had my AAV on backwards and nobody caught it. I couldnt figure out why I couldnt get to the AC ports on it. Done a few goof ups myself. It happens.
We got cold and snow here. You guys can come and get all you want of it. I have had my 4 seasons. I ready for the next one now.lol

Did a little housekeeping today with the Runner. Trying to figure out this oil leak. I am afraid that it is the rear main, but still hoping that most of it is due to the fact that I did not seal up the oil pan well enough for the FIPG.
I realized upon removing the pan that I made a rookie mistake last time and did not use rtv on the timing cover seam and rear main seam.
So this time I made for Darn sure that I used rtv on the tc-block and rm plate-block and then used enough FIPG on the pan.
Now letting it sit for an hour or so before adding oil.
Looks like next week I will have the time to finally do the front axle!! I have been putting this off way too long. It is starting to seap pretty good on the driveway.
