Turns Over, but no dice.

Went to go start the car this morning, turns over, but dosent catch. Any prognosis's from the truck gods? Decently new spark plugs.
I should also mention that it has been moist and rainy here lately. Could it be water in the distibuter cap?

yes it could... It could be lots of things actually. Do you mind adding a bit of detail to the term "doesn't catch"? Is there any fire or stutter or does it just spin with no fire? Is there any fuel smell when you are cranking it? What type of plugs?

Any hints as to what type vehicle and engine you are talking about?

haha.. this guy's one for vagueness. I'm assuming since he implies (and thus knows) that it's got a distributor, it's a pre 3G. Take off the distributor cap, get you some WD 40, spray in there, wipe it out, make sure all condensation is gone, put it back on, fire up the truck and don't shut it off for at least 10-15 minutes to make sure everything dries up. Your seal on the cap is probably bad, and if you fire it up and shut it back off momentarily, the radiator fan will blow more moisture in there. Let everything get warmed up and burn all that steam off before you shut it down.

maybe, maybe not..... i have found that a lot of people have no idea what kind of ignition system they have and everyone jsut assumes they have a disrtibutor when the fact of the matter is distributors are on their way out and a lot of manufacturers are now using a distributorless ignition system

Thus i prefaced my whole explanation with him having a PRE 3rd gen. Although I don't know for sure if the distributors lasted the whole way through the 2nd generation or not...I know the early years had them.

While you've got that distributor cap off checking for moisture crank the engine and watch the rotor, if it's not turning then it's a broken timing belt. If that's OK check for spark at the plugs and also the coil. If you have spark then listen for the fuel pump when you first turn the ignition on.
You have to systematically eliminate possible problems until you find the cause.
