ruf with 3" downey leafs

So im starting to plan the sas on my runner. I was going todo 3"tg and debating 3/4" in the rear(i dont have anything in my runner)

Then i started thinking about doing a RUF using my 3" downey leafs i have in the rear but id like to get other opinions first.

If anyone could correct me, is the eye to eye on the rears the same as the eye to eye on the trailgear springs? if not, what has to be done todo a RUF?

ive posted on my build thread what id like my runner to sit at when done

3" rears up front may (not 100% on this) be too tall. I did stock RUF (mixed with 3 YJ leafs) on my 85 with a 2.5" drop hanger and it sits pretty high.

So I'm thinking that the 3" lift springs may be tall... Check some of the other threads with RUFs to see how high they are...

Yeah, not sure if the downeys are really 3" lift springs tho.. because i have my tbars cranked just a bit, and with the leafs and tg 5" shackles it sits level.. but of course that will change with a spring hanger upfront/shackle setup correct? this is how it sits currently

my downey 3 inch springs sit way higher in the front than in the rear. I have stock shackles in the front and 6 inch TGs in the rear and it just sits level now. Weird thing is the fronts are flat and the rears aren't.

I would highly suggest not going with the Downey springs. They don't flex very well at all and the ride is well, AWFUL.

oh wow, so then 3/4" would be wayyyyy to low for the rear.. good to know! looks like the trailgear 3" sas kit seems what im looking for..

edit* just looked at your build thread, your truck is sitting pretty even

You'll want 1" bigger in the rear due to the weight of the Runner rear, but it will probably be higher with the top off until fully broke in... Not 100% sure though...

For reference again, mine is f150's rear and RUF with a 2.5" drop hanger and moved 2.25" forward (and I have about 400lbs of parts/tools in the bed)...

im debating the tg route will bit alot easier, i have no idea how it'll sit with the downeys up front

Plan on getting the trailgear front hanger regardless, one guy already stated above that they ride like crap but from what i can tell his rig is at a decent height.
