So I picked this 91 toyota up in Utah with a bad head gasket. It also has terrible bed rust and the rear leaf springs are totally broken. I fixed the head gasket last year at Christmas, then had holes in my gas lines so I fixed those as well as put a new fuel pump in since I was there. Now I'm in the process of replacing the leaf springs with some off of a newer Oldsmobile Bravada. Using those springs because they are a bit longer and will ride better without sacrificing any towing ability. I'm using the original brackets just chopping them and rotating them which gives about a 2 inch lift. I plan to finish the springs and then make a custom flat bed for it as well.
