Anyone use LCE 2wd leaf springs?

I need new springs for my '88 2wd pickup. It had a clapped out 2 leaf+OL pack, then I put a good 3 leaf+OL pack on from a parts truck and it rides terrible. I recently saw that LC Engineering is selling 2wd springs. Their pack appears to be designed differently than the stock pack, so I am not sure if I can just count the leaves in the picture to get an idea how they will ride. Has anyone used the LCE 2wd springs before? If so, how did it ride? I don't want to buy them if it is going to ride like the stiff pack that is on my truck now.

I guess no one has used them on a 4x2 here? Anyone use their 4x4 springs? How is the ride quality with those compared to stock?

What leaf springs did you end up using? The LCE 2WD ones?

The 3 leaf pack is still on the truck. Rides rough, but it works for now. At some point I will get a softer pack or try removing a leaf. I'm too cheap to spend the money on the LC pack without someone else testing it first.

Thanks for posting that. Your springs don't look right to me, either. I always thought stock front springs were supposed to sit flat. Those appear to have more negative arch than the 40 year old stock springs on trucks I have worked on. Does it ride any better than with the old springs? Hopefully LCE will let you return them, or at least get them re-arched for you.

I've never tried the LCE springs, I have Old Man Emu CS010R leafs under the rear of my 84 2wd, got them on sale for $13 per leaf pack.
They are a 5+2 leaf pack for 2.25" of lift on a 4runner, I pulled 2 leafs out making them a 3+2, they ride stiff when empty but the truck is amazing with a load in it.
