96-98 2wd Springs needed!!!!!!!!

I'm trying to lower my 99 4wd. I heard it through the grapevine that a set of 96-98 2wd springs will do the job. Can anyone 2nd that? If so, does anyoen have a set laying around that they'd be willing to sell, as long as they aren't on their last legs????? Let me know ASAP

i know ill probably get flamed for this, but i just bought a set of pp 1" drop springs. they actually have dead coils at the top. im actually going to cut both the front and rears 1-2 coils when i install them. john (zubaltec) had cut 1 coil out of his front springs and from what he tells me they ride fine. i know its not going to give as much as a drop as the shuei, or elford springs. but i can tell you it would be much cheaper. also you might wanna specify for 4cyl 2wd springs to make sure it actually drops the truck.

I've got a lower model 4wd v6, so the springs are lower. I'm in the process of putting new ones on for higher lift. They will be noticably lower than yours, since 99-01 had the highest ride height.

Here's a pic, the back springs have settled more since that pic since they have about 30 more miles on them since then.
