2WD springs?

Has anyone found a set of lowering springs for a 2wd 3rd Gen? I'm not looking for anything drastic but would like to improve ride and corners. Performance Products told me their springs will only work with the 4wd. Any suggestions?

To the dissenters: I live in Dallas -- no snow, no mountains, little rain. I do not take my vehicle off the road. Therefore I have no need to lift it. Please do not make fun of me for wanting to drop it an inch .

Thanks,

Nick

Um... did pp say why they wouldn't work? Because even if it doesn't actually lower the truck, they will ride better because they are progressive and probably stiffer. Then if you add a set of bilsteins and addcos you will transform your truck into a cornering king. I have ome HD springs (thats with 2.5 inches of lift) and bilsteins and I can't break my dueller ATs out. They simply won't squeal. I feel the body roll taking over before they have a chance to sqeal. I don't have the addcos yet so thats gonna be next for the suspension. I drive a crazy twisty road to work, so handling is important to me. I would call them back and see if they actually won't fit (its bs if they say they don't, people swap 2wd and 4x4 springs all the time) or if they say they "don't fit" because it won't actually lower it.

Good luck!

I put 4WD stock springs on the front of my 2wd last year... The 4wd lowering springs should fit your 2WD then as well.

I have some 2wd 4cyl. springs from my 2000. They had about 70-80k on them when I took them off. They should lower it quite a bit. Real cheap too!
