Since I had some time, I rolled in the FJ to a local junkyard and found a set of Tacoma TRD seats. Hauling ‘em home.
$75 for the pair.
score.......
Hi there. Love the build you did. Absolutely incredible work and craftsmanship. Do you mind if I ask some questions about the year of the Taco TRD seats you pulled? I have a 97 T100 that I'm doing for my son too. I'd like to find out more information on how you made these seats work in the T100.
Congratulations on your USMC retirement. Thank you for serving our nation.
Now to the Real Question what the heck is the little button on the front of the hood? tip of a laser? worlds smallest satellite dish? small traffic clearing RPG launcher? special input port for the charging the Flux Capacitor? The mind (well mine anyway ) boggles

I used 2005 seats because I had an 05 Taco and I bought those seat covers for it back in the day and swore they were the best dealership accessory ever sold, ever.
So I purposely just went in search of Taco seats that those seat covers would fit on.

The little thing on the hood is actually a stainless steel skull that my son and I have been picking up and setting down for years. He decided he wanted it as a “hood ornament”.
