It'll be get new tires, remove the aussie and sell it once the tires are installed, then get an e locked axle hopefully soon after once I can afford it.

The thing drives like a cadillac now, I love it!

I'm thinking km2's again, I really didnt get a good chance to use them to their full potential because the locker ate them so fast

Stockwell - You do a lot of driving man. I'd look into some Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs, or maybe even hankook dynapro MT's. They're a bit less aggressive and have more of cross between a AT and MT. but its up to you KM2's are sick.

I really wanna give the KM2's another chance without them being eaten up. I was looking at the Falken Wild Peak A/T's as an option, FourWheeler magazine's got some really good reviews on them. But I think this time around, its all about the KM2's

I might just hop on that bandwagon myself. Those bags are legit. Also, I would stick with the km2's as well. Road noise is meh but the wear well. I have heard by numerous people that those wrangler duratracs wear FAST. just my .02

Only suggestion I have for anyone getting the trash atop is to take it off your trucks, empty it, and scotch guard the hell out of it... Any little bit of water that hits it it'll soak up and ruin whatever is inside... Found this out while on my way back from WA in the rain with blankets packed inside and work gloves and trash bags inside...

Really? I almost was thinking of going with those, or even the Procomp M/T's. But I definitely wanna do the KM2's one more time once that stupid locker is gone.

I think I'm only gonna use mine in the summer during trips...but I'll probably do this anyway. Did you do it to yours?

So I've been looking back into my binder that holds every receipt that involves anything to do with the 4runner. I've found that in the last 5 years I've owned it, All the mods I've done and general maintenance have added up to $10,000 . Being spread over 5 years, it doesnt seem that bad. The way I figure it, to finish the 4runner the way I've always dreamed it, it will take another $10,000. That is definitely alot of money I could put towards other things, but spread over another 5 or 6 years it is definitely feasable. Lets just hope the motor lasts that long or that will be added to the list. Heres what I got so far, this is just what I would WANT to have, not necessarily NEED:
4runner Will Be Finished When:
4.88 Gears - $600
E-locker Rear Axle - $600
ARB Locker Front - $900
Finished Long Travel Front Suspension - $1000
Supercharger - $1500
5 or 6 Speed Swap - $300-1000
Atlas 4 Speed Transfer Case - $3000
ARB Fridge - $800
Camping Lab Rooftop Tent - $800
Water System - $200
Dual Battery System - $300
= $10,000

And this is just estimates on the prices, could be more or less.

EDIT: my tires are bald, add another $1100 to that for new KM2's, that makes the total $11,100

Cant forget belly armor, I've been needing it. Let's say $600 in skids

Yeah..... that's why I never add up my receipts. Your 4Runner is nice just as it is, but our 'habit' always seem to make us want to do more. As long as we're having fun, right?

Atlas...
