Got it.

For some reason I was thinking the water/meth referenced boost pre-throttlebody.

Well my truck is down right now so might be better off just PM'ing me any questions you have or better yet post a thread and I will post in there. I much prefer to help people in threads for the most part as it leaves the info around for others to use.

Well that was the plan until my balljoint broke last year. That put it on jackstands until I can afford to fix it. Luckily it is fixable, sadly it is not in the budget for some time.

I don't run a BOV. But, TA got to it before me. When my my throttle plates shut, the boost goes instantly to vacuum. It doesn't slowly loose boost. Thus, meth injection won't be a problem at all. Timely post, I'm wanting to go meth injection now also...

Buying a kit? Building your own? Running washer fluid, straight methanol?

Definitely building a kit. Probably a simple setup with a boost pressure switch. No plans for straight methanol yet. I need to work on my valve body before I go straight meth and crank up the boost. I just want to be able to run 7-8psi without worrying about EGTs. I'm staying at 5psi until I get a wideband. I'll update my build thread https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/v...-setup-274414/ when I make any changes.

Straight meth really won't effect anything, if you have access to it, run it. I always get better performance with it.

That will be the problem. I'll have to try to find a drum somewhere because I live 30 miles from anywhere rural Arkansas. Windshield washer fluid or water will be much easier to come by.

/edit: it appear my "local" race track is one of two places in Arkansas to get methanol.

lol, year race tracks generally have it. If the price for a drum is under $200 then I would dot that. Otherwise the coldest blue washer fluid you can get will work as well.
