I have got to say I am very shocked with Les Schwab Tires. Today I took my 4Runner in to get the brakes,rotors & calipers replaced thinking it is time. I took off down the road to the parts store and remembered I wanted my tires rotated aswell. When I returned five minutes later my toy was already in on the rack tires off and the guy chuggin along. I was shocked! I am so use to my Toy just sitting outside for hours before they even pull it in to work on it. When I went to ask for a tire rotate he advised me I still had 30%+ on the front pads and atleast 50% on the rears. He told me that the rears were out of adjustment and said I could just wait on the brakes for a few months. He adjusted the rears to give me more pedal and I was on my way in fifteen minutes. I seriously am shocked being they could have just replaced everything and got $350 out of me. I am pleased with them for that but they still have special order attitudes except for Matt. He is very helpful!

 

I have dealt with two Les Schwab shops since before '90, and the one by me is great.
I will use no other tire store than Les Schwab.
Very courteous, and they know their stuff.

 

The Wenatchee area has 2 of them. I live in Wenatchee and WAS a customer at this one paying cash for years on wheels tires ect.. When the time came I wanted a lift on the Runner they laughed and said I had no credit with them and had to start out paying a deposit to get the lift. I now drive to the other side of the river for all my shopping with them. I still have issues with one guy being he will not sell me special order stuff. He gives me the run around that they dont make it,you dont need it,it wont fit. So I made buddies with a guy that comes into the Casino I work for and he's my sales agent there now. He sells me anything I want and I hope he gets one hell of a commission cuz he rules. Scary cuz I have a large credit limit there!

 

thats good to know that there are infact good mechanics out there that get on the job pronto. ive never heard of this Les Schwab place. is it just in the northern place kind of how there isnt a waffle house or sweet tea north of virginia?

 

It might be just a westcoast thing im not sure. Ive heard both good & bad. I set up an appt. for just pads and rotors but was told they wont unless I get calipers to. That is without knowing the condition of the calipers. Its how they generate biz I guess. I just needed pads and rotors turned or replaced and ive never taken the hub assy. off a toy. Ive done explorers but not toys.

 

I think they are a west coast shop. I have never seen one outside of Washington state (not that I have been looking especially hard). Sounds like you guys get pretty good service from them.

 

I think we do, I mean like any business you run into a bad deal like an employee having a bad day or parts not coming in on time but that happens everywhere. Now that I think about it they might only be in Wa.,Or.,Id.,& Cali.

 

They are a Pacific Northwest outfit.
Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, and a few others.

 

I've never seen one in SoCal, but when I was in Washington, you couldn't go very far without passing one. I only noticed them because I had heard Corey saying good things about them.

 

my uncle is a manager at les shwab right outside of Portland just after the washington boarder. hes gonna hook me up with a job when i move out there. But i think they are a really good place to shop at.
