Question Need help with headers

This is my first post i've been reading this forum for a while and appreciate all the information ive gotten so far. My question is ive recently learned that me exhaust manifold is cracked and is gonna cost $385 if I get it fixed at the muffler shop. Well ive been looking online and I want to get a header instead of an exhaust manifold. I want a good one and Ive been looking at either a doug thorley http://www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com...horley-Header?

or an lcePermormance header.

I was leaning toward the Doug Thorley but ran into some negative reviews online. Anyone have any experience with either or opinions. I have a 1999 2.7L 4WD extended cab. Im not even sure if the lcePerformance makes one for my 99 2.7L. Anyone with any input as to which one would be better, which one I should buy and where I should get it from.

Thanks to anyone who responds

Thanks for the suggestion i'll keep it in mind. Who makes those parts and would a Doug Thorley or LcePerformance header be better. Do most headers like the DT or Lce come with everything needed for install.

I have two stories for you.

1. 92 22re- changed out head after blowing gasket. Didn't check stock exhaust manifold, blew at head. Bought autozone "dorman" replacement, don't! Get old one surfaced or new out used oem toy part. passages smaller and rougher, had major power loss, same as stock with blown gasket, just ran smoother.

2. 4runner came with dt header. Engine shot, rebuilt. Header was sealed when taken off but blew gasket when breaking in cam. Flange was checked and was good. Had machined anyways and then blew going around the block. Looked at gasket to find leaks, the dt header has a raised weld on the flange in the shape of a snow man. It blew on all 4 cyl on 1 or both sides where circle's met. 22re head is pear shaped. Welded in the sides where circles meet and some around the top circles. It only crimped as little as 1/16" at some places because of misplaced welds, at one spot it didn't crimp at all on #3 cyl between circles. Surfaced again. Still blew, but did it? Changed to remflex gasket, "blew." Friend pointed out the hole in the very middle of flange between studs, leak. My truck doesn't have hot air pickups on header over pipes or the single pick up in middle but header is made for middle pickup. Had to add bolt in middle like 4crawler (not why he did it)to seal final leak.
