A long overdue update for a taste of what's to come
I decided that in order to do the above addition I should probly give my ol 22r a refresher. So over the past couple weeks I have bought a 261 cam and steel backed timing chain kit from engnbldr. I have also bought head studs, exhaust manifold flange, main/rod bearings, piston rings, and a MLS gasket from LCE. All I need to source now is silicone and tube for the intercooler, a bov, and gauges.
I also bought a chromoly flat pitman arm from SORD. Going to move my steering box and axle forward.

Boost build is getting a lot more in depth. Blew some rings or cracked a piston in my current block. So now I am building a 22RTE block .030 over with standard RE pistons to keep it high compression. Sent a spare RE head off to the head shop last week to get freshened up and ported and polished. So all of that coupled with the 261C cam and the K04 turbo from an Audi TT pushing aroun 7 lbs of boost she should scoot along prtetty well. I will post some pics as soon as I can.
