Here's the Weber. I can't seem to get it adjusted right. I have the vac advance lines hooked up proper. I think the LSPV is hooked up proper. I set the idle mix screws to base line and then adjusted from there. That's all fine but there is no low end and a mediocre mid end. It's all high end stomped to the floor. I know that I need a fuel reg between the carb and the fuel pump. But is there anything that I might be missing? Except for maybe re-jetting and a new air filter?

And here is the header. I was told its was a Downey but IDK how to tell. There aren't any markings or tags

Ordered a Holley inline fuel regulator to turn down my pressure so that I am not over fueling the carb. Next on the list is: air filter, jets, and maybe a rebuild kit

Here are some pics of my dang rusty floor. I peeled up the sound buffer and found more.

This is part of the inner fender fire/wall that is rusted through.

This stuff peeled off in sheets

This is the catch for the little bit of time that I spent on it.

I will finish up in the morning. After that patch up the rusty kick panel and prep the floors for some bed liner. I'm thinkin' about using Herculiner.
Go with the monsta liner, you wont regret it. I did a customers jeep with the parts store crap and you could peel it up with your finger nail.

I still want to line the inside of the cab but it's a project that I have put on the back burner for a little while. After I saw what the Herculiner looked like in my buddy's truck I didn't like it. Really thin and like you said it comes off really easy. Where do I get monstaliner?

Another update. Put the Holley fuel regulator on for the weber and tuned it to 3 psi. Seems to run way better. Not throwin raw fuel out of the exhaust like its nothin. I also ordered a K&N filter kit and a carb rebuild kit for it today. I thought might as well.
Went on a night wheelin run with my buddy and his turbo truck. Had a kick ass time out there. First night run I have ever made. Need more light lol. Headlights aren't enough. Almost had the driver lower control arm fall off. The rear bolt was way loose and it was making a hell of a racket under there. So we stopped and tightened that sucker up with the only tools we had.... a pair of channel locks and a tire iron. Nice and snug now though. No more clankety bang bang under there.

Got the AOR bumper and put the shifter seat and socket in.
I gotta say the difference with the new seats is amazing, it's like brand new.

More things go on for this truck than my 4runner. Been mulling over the idea of selling off the 4runner and just building the truck but I can't decide what to do. I haven't the time either way lol.
Truck got smacked in the parking lot at the hotel where we celebrated the new year. It got pushed up over a curb and the pass. tail light is fubar'd. Otherwise she's fine. Dudes truck got the brunt of the damage. My c channel bumper took out his grill, headlight assy, radiator, and I'm sure some other stuff. He did leave contact info and I got ahold of him. Stand up guy, cave me cash for a new tail light and enough for a front end alignment if I thought it was necessary.
Where he pushed it over the curb

But aside from that, I got another piece of the pie for this beasty.... 1st gen bed goodness!!

Picked it up for $100 yesterday. Its not nearly as rusty as mine and relatively straight. Its got some dings and some rust but its 30 years old. Need a tailgate and the tail light assemblies for it. Gonna try to get to the yard later today or tomorrow to see what I can scheme out of my buddy . It is a later bed so it has a "handle open" tailgate and I wanna convert it to the older style "latch" style.

sucks the guy nailed your truck, but cool he was honest about it.

1st Gen bed on your truck is gonna be diffent..they are getting hard to find even around the PNW...I kind of wish I had kept my extra trekker back half.

Personally I would probably sell the 4Runner..JMO

Yeah I was surprised at his honesty, very surprised. The first gen beds are pretty hard to find here as well. They are usually pretty rusted away. You totally should have kept that back half. It would have made a great trail trailer for your rig. As far as the 4Runner goes, I am still on the fence about what to do with it. My dad says to build it so I can have a dedicated wheeler and a mild wheeler/daily driver, and also mainly because it is sitting in his yard surrounded by a pile of parts.

The bed isn't so much mangled as it is just rusty and battle scarred from hard wheelin. When he hit me it literally grenaded the tail light and pushed it over the curb. Not really any body damage done
