I think I have found a diesel to put in the truck: Cummins 4BT!!!!! Itll be sick!! I am chewin ont the idea of doing a Commie Camo on the truck. So it would be red, white, primer grey, and black. And I am also thinkin about changing the cluster lights to either a blue led or a UV blacklight led. Im leanin toward the blacklight but im not sure if itll be bright enough.

I did a few things to the truck today. Got bored of the same ol same ol. Looks like I have some incoming cash ole so I can do some more serious mods.
Took the rear bumper cuz i annhilated it on the last wheelin trip I was out on.

Then I painted the whip springs flat black cuz they were rusting.

Suprisingly, not too much at all. Unless the antenna is bent way over by a low branch. They are offset just enough that the cab doesn't really get in the way.

Most definitly lol. Its not a hard mod. My set up cost $20 for the ball mount, $20 for the spring, and $20 for the antenna itself. So, $60 per side/

I got the LED bulbs for my dash today. They arent bright enough so I am going to upgrade to 6 or 8 diode bulbs. The blue seems the way to go, the blacklight was too dark although I may try to paint the cluster white to get more glow out of it. I will have some pics up in a little while.

I ordered the T3-1/4 4 diode. They are the direct replacement for the #194/#168 bulbs. They are bright enough but I want brighter, so im gonna get the 6 diode bulbs. They are NOT dimmable though. Heres a pic, eventhough the camera does not do justice to how cool it looks. The green on the left is the original and the blue is the new.

hmmm... to make it dim, you might need to convert to pwm for dimming. not too hard to do, but not "simple" either

Im not too worried about the dimmer. I usually dont dim them anyway, just turn it off if anything. But if you do the same swap and convert it I may do the same thing just so that they do dim.

Small update. I have decided to tear into the engine. I havnt started yet but its coming soon. Before we commence to tear down, the tranny in the old mans Bronco needs a tune up, so we have a DD while my truck is down. I think while Im doing the engine I am gonna do a SAS, sliders and bumpers, and prolly a rear locker but all of that depends on my income. Get ready for some and
