Small update. Alternator went out while I was on a week long Elk hunt. So needless to say the truck didn't get its fair share of use on the hunt, much to my dismay. I hated no being able to use it. Bagged and tagged anyway. The engine is getting really tired, its time for a new one. I dont think I am goin to do a rebuild. Ima go the rout of a long block. Anybody know of a reliable place? I was thinking Auto Zone one from Proformance. But not sure yet. Also thinking about an Aussie locker for the rear, but not before the engine.
What do yall think about a spool instead of a locker?

Selling my 33's. Just thought I would let you know. My mpg went to like 8 miles after I installed them. Plus with the oil blowing out the pipe is enough to blow my ˟˟˟˟ up. Had to take off the high winders

Thats really odd. My buddy was running 36s on his 84 and his mileage stayed the same. We have alot of ammo cans layin around. My dad use to do the gun shows for a living. They almost come with the job.

Alright!! I got those Recaros for $100 for the pair.

I used the rails from the old black buckets.

I had fabbed up some tabs to use the stock mounting location out of some steel shims but the seat is narrower than the stock location.

To make the bend I vise gripped the shim to the mounting deal and smacked it around with a hammer till it formed to the right shape.

I will have more pictures up tomorrow of how it all came together.

Thumbs up

I got the seats all installed today. Eventhough I was unable to do it till after dark, I did it anyway. They look good, especially since they are grey and match the interrior. I will have pics up sometime tomorrow

I forgot to post this one.
The new holes that I had to drill are circled in green. I did the same for the other side.
