Looking forward as well to see how thing turn out. Really like seeing things made when possible. The yard I found, I try to get a few extra parts when I can. He has a ton of things I would love to have. If only I had the time and money, I would have a few more projects from him.

I like the idea of building the which plate. Ive been tossing around the idea myself. The only issue is my 4runner does have the upper mounts on the front of the frame, so I cant get those dimensions. I may just buy the frame reinforcement kit to get the location of those holes. Id like to have those holes in the factory location incase I ever to decide to buy a bumper lol.

Yeah, we should start a "Toyota Timeshare" for Yotatech members, so when you're out on vacation in another part of the country your not stuck in some boring rental car, lol!

Here's a pic with the dimensions of the main plate of the winch mount. When I make the winch mount frame reinforcement plate I will probably make it the same measurements as this. I got some of it cut out today, didn't take me long to burn through the skinny wheels that I had. Need to pic up some more tonight. I'll post up some more pics with the measurements of the hole locations, probably tomorrow.

***EDIT: THE PIC BELOW IS OF TG's FRAME REINFORCMENT PLATE, NOT OF WHAT I BULT, JUST POSTED IT FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES, LOL. (Sorry for any confusion)

^^^ I got the plate cut out the rest of the way, and got some holes drilled. I can post the measurements of the location of the holes if anyone needs them, but mine weren't centered perfect, so you might want to measure for yourself, lol.

^^^ here's a pic of what's left of the "home brew" base that the winch bolts to, it came off my smitty bumper that was on my 85' parts truck. For some reason I can't remember, I cut & shortened it, must of needed the metal for another project, it looks a little funny, I fix that later.

^^^cardboard template...

Winch mocked into place, no clearance issues with the grill. The winch I have is an old Warn M5000... it'll have to do till I get a better one.
