Yea I know what you mean with that terry. I found many trucks already fixed up but at ridiculous prices. And something almost always needs something fixed. But like you said after you're done fixing up your own truck you look back and appreciate what you've done to it more then if you were to buy it already fixed. Plus this way I know what's going into the truck rather then what the other party says is in the truck. At least this way I know whats getting put in and I'm happy with what I bought to put into it ya know.

I went searching all throughout the YotaTech Classifieds today and i found tons of great deals. A bunch of my SAS kit missing parts and also some gears for the axles. Here are the links to what i found. I'm Really hoping all this stuff is still available. it'll save me a bunch of money.

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f109...f-sale-232992/

I found alot of other links to like Roof racks, tons and tons of front and rear bumpers. Great deal on a whole solid axle with armor for only $250! sandblasted and painted! i'd jump on that deal if i didnt already have mine. Anyway. ive sent him PM's already. lets wish for the best and hope he has all the parts i need.

Hey I got a favor to ask. I found these Rancho 9000 5speed shocks off an add Wabbit is selling. But I doesn't specify the travel length. I've looked for the past hour online and I can find any info on it at all.
I asked if he could tell me but he replied for me to look it up with the part numbers he included. But I cant seem to find anything. Supposedly they came off an SAS'd 4runner. Which is a good sign. But how much is the travel on them. I need to know if they'll work with my 4" lift leaf springs.

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f11/.../#post51950518

I'll continue to look but if u guys find out before me please don't hesitate to tell me.
$150 for a set of shocks plus steering stablizer is a good deal. I need I figure i can use these for my SAS & lift to save money on the walker evan shocks I really want to get. These will work for the mean time. And ill be able to use the money i save on more missing SAS parts. I think it might be too long bit if u know different let me know.

Ah I just found out the length off a website. They were too long. They were 15.47 and 15.84 travel shocks. Oh well.

Keep hunting, but remember, ..... WOEEEEEEEEEE NELLY! hahaha. JK, you know what I mean, buddy, right? TRUST ME, you WILL find all that you need in due time, and for a great deal if you're patient, right? True enough, gotta jump quick on deals that are right on the 'too good to be true' precipice.... But YOU WILL get her goin, man. Wanna save money, and not interested at first in Fox or Evans shocks? GRAB SOME PROCOMP 3000'S.... Just get something that will work for now to get you buy, roll em for a few weeks/months, whatever you're planning ....then grab some of the SUPER-DUPER shocks you want down the road, dual hoop, etc., etc., etc. ! lol. You can find the pro-comp 3000's on sale for like 100$ for 4 some times, NEW, .... (Buy 3 get one free) thing, ya know? And hey, RS9000's are DEFINITELY a better shock... but ask XXXtreme, ....he runs those shocks that get such a bad rep.... I THINK I remember him saying 'they're serving him well'...and he BEATS THE HECK OUTTA THEM! lol. That way you can test out your shock length needed to the MM, ...then look up for 'just the right shock' on procomp sites,.....then order em up cheap with some internet deal, along with a Stabilizer.... WHICH, BTW, YOU WILL be able to sell some day when you get the shocks you want. RIGHT?

Just a thought. OF COURSE keep looking on classifieds, etc... just remember you have options that aren't that expensive that will serve you JUST FINE until you get, ...."Exactly what you want from the brown-truck Santa Claus!" YEAH? HAHAHA

Good to see you're finding things pop up... That's encouraging, homie

Ahh I see, yeah Im not into those smittybilt bumper, I personally think they're ugly.

And to ChefYota, you are pretty much the most positive and helpful person I have ever seen on the internet. Thanks for being rad dude.

Yeah, not a fan of the smittybuilt ones either... Although I USED To like em when they came out... The new stuff is far more sleek and probably just as durable(and allows for more air flow, right? )

Thanks, JMC That made my day I just like it when people are that way with me, rather than "HEY, .......STUPID, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? Can't you see that............"..... etc., ya know? haha. Even criticism can be constructive and leave no hard feelings, right?

Also, I CAN RELATE! There are about 20 times this last year that I PULLED BACK from squeezing the trigger on a purchase... And I'm glad I did, because a better deal came up/and I wasn't really IN DESPERATE NEEEEEEEED or anything of said item(like the Aisin hubs, mirrors and AFM that I got ALL for 100$~!!!!... Was gonna pay around 300$ for all 3, in reality, so glad I waited, ya know?)And, ... Just like Bumpers.... I WOULD LOVE to have an Iron Bull or ARB or even Addicted Offroad, low squared off stinger, custom made for my likes.... As well as rear with hitch receiver, AND sliders... But practically? I only really NEED the sliders in the scheme of things right now, to prevent the near door/door frame crushing's I nearly experienced last time out....and that will allow me to do other cool things that will keep me within a reasonable budget, right? That's a personal thing for me, too... I DO LIKE the stock bumpers, even in Chrome, on mine, which seems to be loathed by many at this point in time, lol.... Who cares, right? I like it, s'all that matters. I could also handle a brand new pair of leaf packs from hell! hahaha... Maybe used in good condition.... But again, it's rolling ok right now, so I'll stick with Zuk mod and then restoring the rest of it for now, getting it back on the trail and then worry about that, later.

BUT, I totally get Richard wanting to wrap this up and get on with it, too... About the only way to SAFELY do that and know what you got is by grabbing an IFS Eliminator Kit/Hi Steer Kit/etc., new, and then get cutting/welding.(ORRRRRR, to grab all the stuff after checking it out in person/verifying it's all good to go/no hang ups)... But he's trying to save a lil money, which I ALSO TOTALLY get and appreciate... Just have to be FAR more choosey with used suspension and drivetrain goodies, ya know? No guarantee on used.. And some of it can be a bit of work to tear down and get out after you just spent LOTS of work and time and money getting it on lol.

This would be a tough one for me.... I would probably grab an SAS'd rig with a blown motor and low miles on the SAS.... Then rebuild the axles if needed, tear off my Chassis and slap it on that, along with the motor... OR, just grab one good to go, paying a lil more(Probably with no motor, as I would want to slap a 3.4 or 1UZ in one if I find it). BUT, considering Richard has a new/purring motor, SOME parts already... including springs(right?).... It might just be a matter of piecing the best deals together over a HOPEFULLY not so big chunk of time. Grab the axle rebuild kit, now(unless you're planning on grabbing a full IFS eliminator kit from Scotty or something)... Grab that Armor for the front axle... Then get stripping that thing down and have it ready. Grab a set of gears and go through them/clean em up and install a locker(or find a pair locked front and rear)...

I get it, Richard.... big decisions that aren't cheap are often difficult to make.. And YET, when you see some of these deals, it's often VERY tugging at the 'PAYPAL-HEART-STRINGS'! hahaha. You're WISE to ask around/on here, and get thoughts on whether something is worth it/likely gonna need more work/etc., man If it's gone before you bite... s'all good, there will ALWAYS be more guys tearing these things apart and selling goodies!

Keep us updated!!!!

Yea i dont like the smitty built ones either. way too fat. And yea dude Chefyota is really helpful. you should meet him in person. He's a real great dude. I got a few off road buddies from when i used to ride in my old red 86 pickup. but now im pretty much doing everything with this 4runner all by myself. so its really nice to have someone like Mark and you all on Yotatech giving your advice and opinions to save me some cash or do things right. I cant always get in touch with my old off road friends but they still give some advice from time to time too.

Dude I'm sure everyone here has that PayPalidous disease. where you just wanna throw everything on the credit card or paypal and just pay it back later but its hard sometimes. but you just got to. Got to bite the bullet and wait and sometimes it comes out best to do that.
For now im cool with waiting. after all my truck does run great the way it is. so thats good. but i just want this darn kit completed already so i can get everything instaled onto my truck.

So last night i was looking up rear bumpers. Just to see whats out there. and i finally came to a conclusion. and order of which ones i liked best and cost less or more. I wont be getting these any time soon but this is just to show you guys what i have in mind. These were my favorites that ive found out there so far.

The Warn bumper which cost about $850-950. 2nd favorite

The ARB Bull bar bumper 3rd Favorite about $900

Addicted off-road tube bumper about $350 or so

Hey, what's wrong with a smittybuilt bumper!!! Ha, ha, just joking, I'm rocking one for now cuz my stock front bumper looked like it came off the Titanic, lol, plus it was already on my parts truck. That CBI bumper looks sweet, I never seen that one before, I think I like it better than the Warn and ARB as far as uniqueness, and the price is definitely easier on the old wallet, lol!

I'm sure this one is a custom on but ill post it anyway just to drool over lol

These next few are also a CBI bumper cost $425

The next 3 pix are a badlands bumper. Not sure on cost. Just seen pix and I liked it.

I like this addicted offroad lambo style bumper. But unfortunately its an "in-house" build only. So I can't get this one. But its really nice. I like it alot. if I remember correctly it was only about $300-350 which is reasonable.

The Badlands bumper is one of my favorites. But this one is my #1 favorite. I just like how the Licence plate sits in front/middle of the tire. The only thing is I don't know what brand bumper this is or its cost. Bit it looks great.

I got nothing against smitty built bumpers lol. I actually like them. But I don't like them for my own truck. The tubing is too thick for my taste.

And hell yea I like the way those front and rear CBI bumpers look. They are unique. I've never seen anybody on this site rocking one of those yet.
I might buy both the front and rear ones lol. After all you cam get both bumpers for jist sloghtly more then what one front ARB or WARN bumper would cost. It's worth it for me.
