Tgs 23 spline 4.7 gears and a AA adapter plate to get it behind my r150f.

I have a fwd shift already, but will be picking up a top shift this weekend so I dont have to convert the fwd shift.

I think that's plenty. Both my trucks are single 4.7 and I've never come across a need for another low range. You'll love it though

Got it stripped down almost the rest of the way and everything bagged and labeled. My cheap o snap ring pliers broke, so I need to get some better ones before I can take the bearing/gear off the main shaft.

I grabbed some of these 9" Craftsman snap ring plies from the good ol days a while back and they have been freaking incredible. I think I paid like $12 with shipping for mine but they are in far worse condition. I gotta say I really like the flat blade design versus the pinned ones for toyota stuff.

heres a CHEAP pair of MACs with the same blade design.

Im gonna swing by sears on the way home and see if they have any, rather find some local just so I dont have to wait for shipping.

No one local had pliers. Found some on amazon and got them here quick (prime)! On to the next steps!

Pressto!

The 2.28 gear vs the 4.7 gear

Going to clearance the inside of the case tonight for the new gears.

Last of my parts have been ordered, twin stick top shift conversion and the 23 spline coupler from AA that Im missing. Should all be here some time next week.

Looks good. Was you able to order a top shift conversion? I haven't looked recently, but normally those seem to be on backorder.
