Can do!!
So when i left work today with the runner i needed some firewood for the shop and when i tried the rear window it didnt work!!So i thought the lock button might have been the problem but it wasnt...Found a great writeup on 4crawler and talked to Gizler and he told me to ground the solid blue wire off the switch and it worked!!!!Anyways i loaded wood into the rear seat area and still got the shop warm!!!Just needs a good cleanin now.
Thanks for the help Mark!!

No Problem buddy. I cannot take credit for the Fix since I received my info from Terry awhile back on adding the ground. I am glad that it worked for you. The one thing I hate the most with these vehicles is trouble withe the rear window!! Drives me insane when it does not work properly.
And then when you have to load stuff in through the front doors!!!!!
Glad its working now buddy. Supposed to be in the 70's this weekend!!!

I like the 33's man! I'm also jealous of your dad's truck, i had a 4runner in College that had that same paint job and was almost as clean, i still kick myself for selling that thing...especially when i stare at the growing cancer spots on mine

Been there done that as well. So many of these things I should have kept that were rust free.

I have also got rid of some vehicles i really miss..like the 97 dodge3500 dually with the cummins and a 5spd!!

I miss my cummins too!!

I just spent the past 5 hours reading your entire build thread, and that is excellent work. Way to keep it cheap! It is awesome to see a rig left for dead come back to life with TLC. Great work, and the runner looks great. I have had my fair share of mice in my buick, ford, and now new 2013 fusion. Not sure where the little prick lives, but he will die...

Thanks.Took awhile,and alota beer
Thanks. I try to do things without spending a grip and still be functional and unique. Yea mine sat for years and had alota damage from mice. I hope you find the little prick.

LOL, on the hot exhaust eviction of the mouse.
I got the mouse that did the damages to my runner, still seems like he got off easy. One whack and he was a goner. 1000 whacks and I would of felt better.lol

So on that note i was about to order a cv shaft for the passenger side of the runner that is blown out and i realized theyres no difference from side to side on the cvs...DUH.So technically i could use the drivers cv off the 87 im sas'ing??!!

So i replaced my destroyed cv tonight.Took 2hrs with simple hand tools and a jack. Wish i had more pics but i was in a hurry. Took the tire n wheel off, lockout, bolt n washer, snap ring, lower ball joint, shock, and swaybar link to get it out. Put the used one out of the 87 in (which looks like it was replaced, fairly decent shape...) and bent 2 of the lockout studs with the brass drift while getting the cone washers out.
