My buddy has an old one on his jeep that locked up. For some reason. I'm sure it's ok. But for around the same price you could get a smittybuilt. Which I think are definitely built better

Smitty built, HF, rugged ridge, engo, and several others are all built in the same plant in china and shipped here in the same container. They are all okay winches if they are maintained, the problem most people have is they just use them. They are mechanical and need maintenance just like the rest of the truck they're mounted to. Not trying to start a fight just my opinion, I put a ton of research into my winch and decided with my budget what was best. As stated the Smitty built for the money tho it's the same winch will probably keep a few people from laughing at you for not having a NAME BRAND winch .

Heck im just happy for the input!!I have a pushbar (i guess thats what ill call it) its black and has a winch mount on it.The winch also comes with a roller fairlead. I think it would be pretty handy not to mention look sweet on the runner.
#748
It would look bada$$. Especially since you put the tires on. You could mount some lights to it also.

Finally went to the upullit and heres what i got!!
pair of inner fender wells $10.99
fuel pump housing with pump $26.99
rear window module $10.99
tailight $17.99
rear cargo light switch $5.49
MAF $21.99
marker light $3.49
Fuel pump relay...FREE she overlooked it.
I would also like to of gotten the fuel gauge sending unit, drivers cab floor metal (great condition) and a nice factory chrome bumper
So my total was $117.89 w tax.
Also bought a Michelin commander rear tire for my harley...$192.59
HD choke cable $15
Harbor freight stuff including a electronic flyswatter zapper for my son!!! $20
After feeding the dog a double cheeseburger and getting to drive the runner all day I must say i had a great arbor day.
Now i have to decide whether to mount the new tire,or keep putting the straight axle together!!!

Awesome score on the parts buddy!! I ende up grabbing that AFM and an igniter for my runner when out call cut out.
I'm glad the yard wasn't flooded with people like it was at the Omaha south yard today. Almost wasn't a parking spot.

Sounds like you got a nice stash of parts. I am looking forward to getting to the yards. Haven't been in so long and needing to get a few parts myself. I was watching the weather channel and looks like you guys had a rough day in your part of the country. Hope all went well.

So i was mowing my lawn the other day and could smell 80 90 weight.found a puddle under the passenger side which ive recently replaced the cv. So i forgot to tighten the cv bolts and nuts they were just finger tight and when i wheeled it last weekend i ever so often heard a loud pop which actually was the heads of the cv bolts shearing off the ifs case!!! I got lucky and two of them stayed together. The leak was caused from the axle popping out of the housing about a 1/4 inch. I lightly popped it back in and replaced the bolts and TIGHTENED them up.Good to go.

15,000 nuts and bolts, bound to miss a few of them. One of the things I plan on doing this weekend is going back over every nut and bolt to make sure I haven't missed any. glad to hear it was an easy fix for you.

But i did get a sweet stereo for my harley...200w speakers all waterproof w amp!!Just plug it into my mp3 player and have instant jams!!!
By the way heres a cool pic my bro took...ever hauled anything like this with your yota????
