OK spent as much of the day in the shop as I could, I didn't get to spend all day in there becouse I completely for got my fly wheel needed touched up so a couple hours were spent trying to get that done machine shop says maybe tomorrow, I also notice my oil pump housing seal got pinched on install really mad at myself about that A becouse it happened B because I spent a good deal of the trying to find one ended up ordering it should be here tomorrow as well. Frustrated becouse these set backs are mine own fault just not paying attention. Anyway I took a few picks my messed up seal and a few other things, and forgot the camera out there and now its raining so if I can talk the boy in to going out to get it "no I wont float away I'm just lazy" I will post up some pics.

Flywheel is done headed to pick it up now. Want to mention I looked at my old clutch yesterday and noticed it had a sticker on it that said remanufactured first I didn't know a clutch could be rebuilt second this thing is wore out for a vehicle with a little over 200,000 MLS that seemed kinda odd to somebody was really hard on this thing before I got it is all I can say.

ok so I got quite a bit done today but first.

the oil pump housing seal that i pinched while installing not a good pic but I wanted to mention that the seal didnt seem to fit right like it was to big, the one from napa seemed to fit much better.

my electric fan mounted to freshened up rad,
ok on to todays progress started the day doing some running picked up flywheel oil pump o ring rear main,
got the oil pump back together and took the engine off the stand and did the rear main put it back on the stand and finished up the oil pan and a few other odds and ends,

pulled it back off the stand and bolted up the flywheel then the clutch assembly

bolted upthe tranny

and then a little while later

everything went pretty smooth going back in except the motor mount the head on the bolt from the bolted mounts changed things just enough to be dificult but a little wiggling and a lot of cursing it finaly droped into place.
spent some time hooking a few things back up[thanks so much terry] got a ways to go yet but if all goes well should be able to try and start her tomorow.
thanks for checking in guys.

Its a toyota Jason! We never know why we put so much time and effort into the rigs, but 2 things we all know for sure:
1.) No other trucks are worth putting this much work into, and
2.) We'll never be done with our project trucks
but thats a good thing
Nice colors man!

IT RUNS WOOOOOOOOHHHHOOOOOOOO, still have a lot to hook up and a few things to redo but so far no major bugs except the starter not wanting to engage I put it on new just a few days before I quit driveing it and cant figure why its acting up but it has a life time waranty so if it keeps it up I will swap it out. few oil leaks but they are up high and I think I have found them I will try and get a vid made befor I head back to work if I can get the exaust quieted down.

this is a little progect my son was dieing to see get started so I told him last night to go start he did a really good job cutting it as far as straight lines etc Im proud of him.

Nice half top! Think I've seen one a lot like that somewhere...just can't remember...hm...
Maybe I've started a trend! The half tops look good on these runners! Kinda wish I had the windows on mine like you do jason. Glad to hear you got her fired up though!

Thanks moze the half top has actually been in the plans for a while you just beat me to it LOL. Mine still wouldn't be started if it wasn't for my kid haha. Really glad to have it running even if I still have a ways to go.

GREAT talking to ya, as usual! Just be patient, .... and I KNOW you'll have some trouble free start up action, ya know?
