Glad to hear you got the ticket reduced. I actually forgot about that, I know when I got mine in Cali, I tried the next day to go down and take care of it, and they said it would take a month to get it in the system. California is expensive. Its got to be a relief.

I don't know much about clutch brands, but I'm planning on replacing mine during the rebuild, do you have any tips on brands etc.?

Hey Dutch, ...we just went through this over the phone quite a bit, etc.... I shot him to LCE, and I'm not sure, but I think he got one from them that is FOR CERTAIN "Daikin-Japan" OEM Clutch kit, complete, .... 140$ or so? He'll answer, but thought I'd get you started, as I'm pretty sure that's what he did, lol.

we got AISIN from Wab-Fab using the YOTATECH discount.
if I recall correctly, came out to be about $7 more than the cheapest I could find anywhere, but the trade-off is that I supported a business of a fellow member, plus the fact that I am not dealing with some anonymous EBAY seller kinda made it better too.

Hey guys thanks for stopping by, mark I got big plans for when I get home but I have to tell you that your ordeal has me really worried, Just hope I didn't miss anything.
Jerry now I feel bad for ordering my clutch kit from where I did, I was not awhere that wabit gave a discount ugh.
Dutch I got a daikin / exedy clutch on mark and others advice, I ordered it from dial a clutch.com they assured me it was mfg in Japan but I wont know for sure till I look at it. I'm not sure where they are headquartered but they specialize in import clutches and were very easy to deal with shipped quick etc, hope that helps.

I should have done more checking into it I appreciate this site to much to not support the sponsors, I sure didn't mean to sound like I only cared about a discount, I will definitely pay more attention to that from now on, I feel like a real doofis.

Glad to see you made it home. Glad to hear your clutch was made in Japan. One less thing to worry about on down the road. They put alot more effort into the quality.

The 50/50 studs are a hit and miss thing for me. I have gone to different Toyota dealers to get them. Dont know why they ever went 30/70.

Hope everything goes well for you that you get to hear it run. That would be a big reward for you.

LCE is great with Customer Service, Jason, ... Just call em, they'll ship out while you're heading to the post office, ...........that is, if you want to change them out with some 60/40 or 50/50's.
