I will check it in the morning. I think I need to hang it for it to conduct better. It is cleaning up some. I did weld some bolts to the lawn mower blades instead of the way I had it. Good idea on the plastic clips. Will grab some.

Hope your bushings get in early.

I was digging for some other information and found maybe a better picture. Just below the zip tie is a square hole. To the right of the picture, you will see two square clips with screw holes in them. Those are the one you need to move to the other square hole for your longer arm rest. I painted over my clips, but the ones you will need to adjust to your square holes are like a neon yellow (when they are not painted over, lol)

I actually think the empty square hole in between the two plastic squares and the single square is the one you need to move your arm rest to.

Here is what the neon yellow look like unpainted. Just pop them out from the inside to the outside.

snagged a good deal on an idler arm greaseable via ebay 29 bucks mines got a bit of clunk in it so needs replacing an the new again is greaseable for long term life local stores order in 2-3 days 59-109 (109 for greaseable)

also got some bosh wiper arm adapters mine has the metal ones that screw on making them J hook style but cant use newer J hook blades as they lock onto the arm the metal adapter interfeirs the bosh adaptor plugs right onto the stem end of the arm (you can also buy newer 4runner an tacoma arms) making it a J hook end

my upgraded radio came in and the pocket for under the radio im pulling the cup holder thing i never use it as it just isnt what i needed i might put a light in the back top of the pocket so can see phone when i toss it in there

So I went from page 1 to this page. I'll lurk more later but I had to comment based solely on that initial INTERIOR!!!!! That is insane how well kept it was. Congratulations my friend on finding that good of an interior for 700!!! I'll probably be spending close to that on my final (by final I mean like done. No more. It's where I want it kind of thing) interior alone!

was 60 deg today got some stuff done

local toyota enthusiast (lives in jerome) has like 5 rigs in his yard 3 of um 4runners had a pair of 84 tan buckets for sale i snagged them for the kids 79 hilux as the seat in it isnt even yota its a chevy luv bench an its falling apart

power washed the oil an dirt off soap an degreaser an darn they came out good soaking wet yes, a few tears an age yes, but still NOT bad for 40 bucks

washed my girl an concentrated on the rear springs an the idler arm area for expected work coming gave her a wash an paint started peeling off the hood maaaaaaan.... ahh well looks like hood gets stripped to bare metal this spring or soon as the temp is warm enough

so seats are in the shop drip drying an i parked my rig tomorrow gona stick upgraded radio in an the under pocket see if the radio need a microphone which it has an extra lead for or has it got an internal one that will work for now i think it does kiddo will get my old radio for his rig later

84 yota seats for the kids 79 hilux prior to cleaning

We had a great day as well, unfortunately I was way behind on my sleep and spent it in bed. Burns me up to miss a great day. Re paints just are not as tough as what they are when they come from the factory, guess it is because they can bake the paint on. Still this is not the same truck as what you started with and has come along ways from where it was and is always great to see it progressing.

I have taken several seats and carpets to the carwash and sprayed them out and it is surprisingly how much of a difference it can make on one. It would be nice to have 5 rigs available for parts. Runners are especially hard to come by.

In that link Jason sent you, I was getting a tire fixed and there is a Corvair convertible right by the tire shop that I use. I got a laugh out of it when I seen it. Next time I am at the shop I will get a picture of it. It is a bare bones car. The guy would sell it to me am sure but I will pass on it.

Lol, I thought that is how all first gen trucks floorboards came from the factory. All the ones I see look the same way. Seats came out great. They will look and smell so much better when they dry. Bet you were surprised to see all of the gunk that come out of them. You ought to see what comes out of carpets. That stuff should be considered hazardous waste. lol

Oh I will haha I was lucky enough to have no rust on mine but my interior leaves much to be desired such as a radio, climate control fascia, proper seat brackets, dome light, working speedo, tach, proper rear window etc. A new carpet and seat covers would make a world of difference though. Good luck on your build and I'll be checking in regularly. Happy Yota-ing!

I am curious to see if the Accel coil makes a difference. Keep us posted on that. Something I just never thought about.

report on a night drive i took to go get some sauce for dinner got a hill got to go up to get there i pushed it smooth held power an then i added she steadily accelerated up the hill till i reached the top (several small plateaus along it)at bout something nearly double the legal speed i actually lifted the tires a tiny bit

my opinion if you want to liven up a 22re get her one of these coils smooth i actually accidentally left it in second talking with the kid an she didnt balk or shudder just went like it was first lol

There is some nasty colds going around. Cant believe there is a California emissions tag for a coil. I need to do my part to increase global warning, it is colddd here. Iknow there is more power to be had out of these little motors, just have to find where it is at.
