Hard to believe how far your truck has come. Interior is coming along great. Didn't know you had the SR5 seats. Those extra adjustments make it a little more comfortable.

happy new year all ya yota tech folks

well winter being freaking cold i havent done much other than drive the ol girl an check fluids BUT i did have a serious shashay an sweep when winds were blowing up her rear skirts the other day

SO i just got done ordering a grease-able shackle kit an rear spring bushings (polyurethane) from andy's autosport

if you go back a bit you'll see how bad my rear bolts through the shackles are i suspect the shimmy shimmy shake i got was due to the slop in the bolts an worn bushings

I was scanning some threads and seen you were on a few pages back. Glad to see you making some progress. My bushings are in bad shape, will be looking what these work out for you.

the bushing kit comes with the eye ends an sleeves 2 per spring one sleeve (front of spring) and the shackle end which is 8 bushings (4 each spring) replacing the shackles an bolts as mine are very bad off

Wow, what a transformation. Been away for another few months again but seeing everybody's progress here is really making me happy. Your truck definitely is undergoing a huge facelift! I see you have the bullbar i sold you on the rig. It looks super clean buddy. Loving the interior. and the extra lighting you put up in front. Keep the updates coming. I really like what i'm seeing.

Also Happy New Year and hope you and your family had a great Christmas.

Wanna do mine next? I haven't been able to get my rear bed 'deck light' to light up for over a year now. I don't have any blown fuses in the driver kick panel. So I don't have any clue to what it can be.

mine wouldnt light until i unplugged it cleaned the contacts of the switch on it realized that the darn fool thing had to have the running lights on to operate then i changed out the little bulb for a COB LED light which floods the area nicely

i still need to do the wiper motor cover mod ive got a good sized diode out of a ionic air cleaner just need to get off my rear end an get it done (and warm weather)

Looking at the forecast, it looks a little chilly in your area. Just about everywhere is an ice cube. We will be in the single digits for the next couple of days. I am ready for spring. Had enough winter now.

Not to be Captain Obvious or anything but you do know you have to have the running lights on to make the deck light come on. right? It's a stupid design IMO. edit: Cyber D already mentioned it.

Good to see you Cyber. The seats look great. Very clean and comfy. Happy New Year!

I don't recall if the lights were on or if the truck was turned on when I tried checking. But I dont even think the 'deck lamp' switch lights up orange anymore. But I'll make sure to test that out when I get home. Anyway. Thanks for the reply. Back to Cyberhorns thread
