Wow, man...... I'm REALLY, really bummed for you having to go through all this for so long, William! You have such a fantastic attitude.... but I CAN'T IMAGINE how tough it is to cope at times(I'm betting that STAYING positive and busy as possible is part of it) ... You're in my thoughts and prayers, buddy... DAILY!

being flat stubborn an not willing to let it get to me helped as well but being positive is finite there were times i was so mad at myself an those who helped me survive exhausted tired loss of hope
the runner got me out of the house put my experience to use frustrating as the rust is

the runner needs me that makes it a lot more than a truck

so thank ya mark, i even have a genuine witch that once a month lights a candle for me to help ill take any good karma i can get

I know of 2 people that wrote a book apiece and sounds about like yours that it didnt go big, but still it was an accomplishment to get it published. Great Job!!!

That is one thing of taking a rough truck and being able to turn it into something. You can see the results of it and know what went into it. There is always some challenge to overcome as well. If all of the fixes were easy, it wouldnt be as fun. Can still be a PITA though.lol

Ok, .... now, .....you said, "don't stay too grounded"... I went and listened to ya... and NOW I CAN'T GET BACK DOWN TO THE GROUND! haha. But seriously...Aint that the truth!?!?!? I do my BEST, every day, with most that I meet/time with acquaintances and friends.... to MAKE THEM LAUGH! I enjoy doing so very much... And I'm grateful that I've been given a spirit of "Just because I say something to lighten the subject... doesn't mean I take it lightly ", at times when it could be helpful, haha.

Keep slaying with that unintentional 'humble pie', William... I need it from time to time!

If just doing wiring OK to use the soldering gun. Worst case you melt too much insulation. However, be careful when soldering electronic components like diodes. I use a 25-watt iron for that. Pinching lead of component with long nose pliers between point you're soldering and component itself will help protect component from too much heat.

Hey RAD, ........good to hear from ya!

Yeah.... I was thinking the diode might had suffered some heat exhaustion, lol.. BUT, turns out it was something got tripped until I made that contact with the Constant getting the 12V and then door as well, ground wire to ground, etc. I KNOW, I got it backwards, lol... but, it worked(OR, as you said, corrosion just finally broke free.)... Either way, I cleaned up all the lights I'll be using, THOROUGHLY, to keep that from happening again(if that was the case).... And the other wires work flawlessly to power those lights now when I open the door... So I know they'll work when the final install happens(when I get through the 'crises' part of this)....

Gotcha on the wiring is fine with the higher watts... I wont let it run on and on, promise... just hot enough to start the solder through and complete the joining...then pull it off

How you doing, William?

DAYUM THAT FOOT! ..... Once again, you got me laughing at something I wouldn't EVER normally laugh at.... lol... Then quickly to catch myself with a "WAIT, that's not really 'FUNNY-funny'.... but it still made me laugh... This guy keeps slaying me with the humor he finds EVEN THEREIN his own crises and battles! WOW!" haha...

Hope you all beat back the 'green slime' quickly, sir! It's TRYING to get me, too... Which freaks me out as I've spent much time lately in the Hospital, ya know?

Oh yeah.... definitely... I've spent so much time in there over the last 9 years.... for others(My ordeal lasted several weeks there and then a year or so of healing from that wreck...but you KWIMean lol) .... you'd think I'd add that to the 'CHECKLIST EQUATION' each new time...BUT, .... it doesn't always hit you right that "It's time to GET IN AND OUT and wear a mask" - times when this is the case/circumstances.

You know.... this last year, and in particular the last few days... It just took me to the edge of 'beyond what I can handle, mentally/emotionally/physically and STRESS wise, period!' Every minute that I let go a lil more of this responsibility, .... I'm feeling a little more release of that overwhelming stress. Amazingly.... I've not lost any hair, no grays, still blonde as ever, haha... But I could 'FEEL IT', ya know? (Of COURSE you know, derrrrrr! ) ........ I could feel that I was at the point that I better begin to think of my own health and that of my mothers, as well.

Best wishes to ALL of us in whatever is left of this short time here on this rolling rock! lol.... Speaking of which... I mean it, not to overdo the complimentary commentary.... I know that's likely annoying... but again, as I said, I mean it, .... YOU ARE a Rock, Sir! Thanks for sharing so freely! I hate to sound selfish... It's not really my nature anyhow.. BUT, while I HATE this for you.. I'm thankful that you share it, as well as a positive attitude... it's VERY HELPFUL TO ME in keeping things in perspective, William! I guess I'd just say, plain and simple..... 'I'm thankful for what I have, for my health and for YOU/having met ya!'

Give ole Skelrunner a butt smack from me, k? hahaha. Tell her "SHAKE THAT ORANGE CRAP OFF!", FROM ME!

Ooooh, so you mean, 'he's gonna verify that it's good to go for ya' ??? Cool...

Just curious.... if your head is completely fine(aside from the head itself, lol).... did you think about grabbing a new Proline for like 169$ or something? Then slapping all your goodies in there? NOT trying to derail Utah-dude, lol. Just curious, as I said.

This getting old is for the birds. Used to heal up quickly and now it doesnt take much to get into trouble and a long time to heal. I dont want any more birthdays.

I seen motors that threw rods and never messed with the head. I feel it will probably be alright. Hope the head works out for you.
