Got a 91 Toyota 4x4 3.slow. Finally got enough money and time to do my Sas. Putting 96 f150 springs in the rear and TG springs in the front. Doing hydro assist and putting in a second 3.slow in
First time taking a birfield apart and wasn't to bad got both apart and cleaned out and put back together in 20 mins. Tomorrow I got more packages coming in and hope to have the axle all put together and ready to be put on the truck
Sorry guys that I havnt posted in awhile been really busy with the truck and also with work. I made my own upper bushings for the shackles and my all my own shackle plates all 5 in hole to hole
Taking apart one of my t-cases I got
Front axle
Almost done but started to put together and realized I need the backing plate eliminator. Learning stuff as I go sense this is all new to me
All apart
Front hanger on
Rear end on with Ford F-150 springs
Shackle angle really step I think at 30 deg. I feel like 25 is what I'm shooting for? Any input on this would be great help.
Gonna be tall. And that's with 33s on now<br/>But I have no weight in it no tranny or engine on the truck or no front end either
Redoing gaskets for tranny and getting ready for dual t-cases
So got the dual t-case put together but having a issue with that last bolt about to just take the cut off wheel and try and cut the stud down a little. Or am I just doing something wrong?
Well got a lot more done this weekend got the axle all together and under the truck now. Gonna pick away at getting the transmission all set and put back together with the dual case and hopefully next weekend the transmission and the engine will go in
Sorry guys I havnt posted in awhile been slow for me but getting back at it got a lot done this weekend but I don't have pics I'll try and get some tmr getting close to being done
3" tg springs in the front
Ford F-150 springs in thee rear
Dual cases
Drilling and tapping for hydro at work on the Bridgeport
Tg 3" springs were giving me problems that's with all the weight in so I had to switch springs
New springs in a lot better going with these
2nd gen toyota springs and added 2 of my old read springs to it and work out good to fix the problem I had with the tg 3" springs
