Thanks The CBI carrier is actually no more, part of the mount was used to make the new tire mount...

THanks Al...I want to get the interior cage done but not enough cash on hand. I hope that will come with the tax refund early next yearm unless our new president decides to keep it..

Did you and the girlfriend find a new place yet? If you need a hand moving just holler

Looks Pretty SWEET!!! I really like how he did the Tire Carrier. I've been trying to decide how I want to mount and carry my spare!

Your rig keeps getting Nicer and Nicer!!

I hope you get a chance to enjoy it and use it one of these days!

found a few foreclosed fixers in the aloha area that might have potential. hope to check them out more next weekend. i just added another rig to the fleet this weekend (92 land cruiser), and i'm running out of places to hide them. i better find a house with a big driveway, soon!

'92 LC..sweet!!! I would love to see that thing some time...
As far as houses, I actually live in the Aloha area, there are a bunch of houses for sale around here. Some with decent yards but mine is small...
There is one a couple of blocks away from me (not for sale though) that has a nice 30x40 shop in the back with access off 198th, decent size driveway etc that i would love to have...

Not sure what your plans are for your Truck, but I came across a set of Montero seats that match the back seat I have so I went ahead and grabbed them, also found a dual diaprahm brake booster out of an '88 4Runner. Once I get the seat sliders worked out, the Acura Integra seats I have now will be up for grabs. They are yours if you want them. They are in overall excellant shape..

thanks man, i'd love the seats.

weird, two houses i looked at were off 198th. one on rock rd and one off oak. hey, keep a look out for me and we might end up as neighbors.

once the LC is on the road i'll have to swing by and we can drool on each other's rides.

Sounds good...if you see a Tan Tahoe following your 1st gen it might be me...Tercel is DOA till I get time to work on the POS...

There are ton of places for sale now...I hate to see what my home value has done, probably owe more than it is worth now...but I wish I had cash to buy a few rentals...

Been awhile since I touched the Trekker. Fed Ex just dropped this thing by:

15 lb Ultimate Air Bottle. Should come in handy for airing up the tires when and if I ever get this thing back on the trail. Regulator is fixed pressure, may suck it up and pick up an adjustable regulator down the road but this should be a lot faster than my POS Schucks compressor..

bumper latch

Can't remember if it was from a YT member or someone on another forum that sent an email (deleted by mistake) about the latch system used on my rear bumper so thought I would post it up here just in case. If it was a YT member, sorry it took so long

It is pretty simple, Derek the fab guy, used an ordinary hitch pin made it spring loaded, sleeved the tubing and secured with a spring pin (basic but pretty secure):

If I had seen this kit from EMS off road, I would have bought it instead of the Rockstomper hinge kit:

very complete kit for the money....

nice! i haven't decided if i'm going to have a CO2 tank or run OBA on my jeep. i've seen a lot of the tanks lately, and the portability is awesome.

i'd recommend getting a rubber boot for the bottom of the bottle, unless you like taking a dirt popsicle with you.

Portability is kind of what I was thinking. I can throw this thing in the trailer when we go camping and have the inflatables filled for my kids in no time. Filling a bunch of Kayaks and rafts takes for ever and burned up a few cheapo pumps. Thought about a VIAIR set up but this was half the price.

I am thinking about running a line to front and rear so I don't have do deal with the MudSicle like you are talking about. I just need to find a place around Beaverton that will fill it, had not really checked yet though..

well since my Tercel is slowly dying and the Trekker gets a lot better mileage than my Tahoe my wife said for my x-mas present I could have a wheeler bud install all my crap I have been accumulating for the last year or so.

I wish I could have had it powder coated but Rustoleum will do...
Dug out in the various corners of the garage: in this pile of junk is 2 TC's, dual adapter, 4.7 gears, twin stick, rear springs, shocks, front shock hoops, V6 Calipers, LC Rotors, front axle armor, front end rebuild kit and assorted rear end mounts...

plan is to load all this junk up tuesday and leave it to get installed...

Wih the exception of the welding work I would do this myself, but just no time... this way atleast maybe I will actually get in a little winter wheeling too...

been knowing that for awhile ...3 girls all going three different directions activity wise. Cool thing is that I think the wife wants to do a little wheeling this winter too. I just truly feel blessed that I have a wife that understands (well most of the time)

Ordered a few of this little gems off ebay on friday, had them by monday:

1 watt Led's. I would have love to have gotten some from ROundeyes.com but these were a bit (1/2 price) cheaper. Ebay link LED's
I am very happy with the light out put:

They hardly draw any juice at all so that will be a plus. Will get them mounted when I get the truck back and see how they look with one at each corner of the truck for trail/rocklights...I'll see how these work and maybe get a couple more to mount in the middle of the truck...

UPS just dropped these off that I got from the ORS garage sale, even with shipping cheaper than prices I have seen locally. In great shape too:

I want Longfields some day, but with spares at least I should be able to get off the trail...
