You might ask them to do a static balance instead of a dynamic balance. Should bring the weight down.
Also spin the tire on the rim in 90 degree increments until it balances out best.

As you can tell, tire shops just love me.

I went to a different America's Tire yesterday, I was at Home depot and they had recently opened one in the same lot. They rebalanced the tires, and it seems to be a much better improvement.

I am still debating about popping the bead and putting about 10 ounces of air soft pellets in each tire..

I want to get my 1 tire rebalanced too. Just haven't had the time or found the shop that I am happy with yet.

A little FYI for you, you might not have to pop the bead to put BB's in. If BB's are small enough or you can find some small enough ball bearings, you can remove the valve core from the valve stem and dump them through the stem. It may be a little tedious and time consuming to pour BB's through the valve stem, but it would be easier than breaking the bead. Just my $0.02

I do. I suppose I should just pop weights and see how the balancers do but kind of want to give the air soft a try

.
I have seen that method used. i won't use steel bb's. not sure if the 6mm will fit or not. If i got the airsoft route I would rather just dump a bunch in there. putting 10 ounces through the valve stem will take awhile

x4 would take forever! So just airsoft BB's and they act like the centerline balancers? Cool idea.

it is a little bit tight between the seats but oh well..I will take the extra security

Ordered a set of these so I can try the Air soft beads:
PowerTank Monster Deflators
they have a way bigger opening, regular valve stems won't allow the air soft beads to go through..

I want to get a set of these Staun
I'm interested how you like the deflators you ordered. I don't think I'd want to drill holes in my wheels. Although, I suppose if you had access to a balancing machine with wheels without tires mounted you could choose a place on the wheels to fix them if they are out of balance. Most wheels are about a 1/2 ounce off.

I went with the mini monsters mainly due to price. They came into today. I will hopefully get them in over the weekend.

Stupid thing about my death wobble issue, I swapped the tires front to rear and now no death wobble...gonna talk to America's tire about replacing the two tires..

Yea, I am unconvinced of goodyears quality control. One of my tires balances very poorly, it's visibly out of round when I have the rear end up in the air and watch it rotate. If I had the time and energy, I would bug tire rack about it, but on the rear it doesn't cause any serious wobble. I'm hoping the locker evens things out.
I was so excited about the goodyears, but now I am a little disappointed. At least they have good traction on wet pavement and seem to be good in the dirt. *Sigh* I spent a long time deciding on tires and it really seemed like choosing the best of the bad choices to me. Still convinced I made the right choice, but wish the quality control was better.

It's not just Goodyear...seems like it's not that uncommon to get a new tire that's out of round to the point it won't balance. And a lot of times the tire shops will just get it close and hope you don't notice.

interesting about the duratracs. I went into America's Tire yesterday and they called Goodyear and was able to get the tires swapped out for another set. I wish I would have gone in with in 30 days, but life the last few weeks prevented it. I was almost ready to suck it up and get a different size rim, which would have been necessary to get the duratracs in a 35" range.
The new tires seem to be much better.
The new ones didn't take near the weight of the first set and I can now feel safe about 35-40 mph... we'll see..

Glad to hear the new tires seem better.
Airsoft bbs can be added to the wheels while leaving the weights on with no adverse affects(so I've read). Read lots of threads where guys added the bbs to see it it would help then removed a weight at a time till all weights were gone and just using bbs to balance. Think I might try that.
