I'm on somewhat of the same boat.......should've done this while doing dual cases.... I just had to hold back for now. My V6 Brake upgrade, now with the FJ60 calipers, ......I should be good to go for now. But it's DEFINITELY something I want to do!

I have tried a couple of different LED light bars but never found one that had the light output I wanted and would work with my bumper (didn't want to mount it on top)
Picked up some round ones off ebay:

bumper needed some touch up paint, went ahead and painted it and the grill desert tan.
Not so sure I like it or not

Also cleaned up the Samurai back seat I got a couple of years ago so my kids can wheel with me this summer. The seat back is ripped so Zip ties to the rescue...Half ass I know...also padded the rear portion of the cage and added some grab straps in the back

To get the Brat seats to work I will have to do some fiberglass work, not enough time for my vacation in a couple of weeks

they are pretty bright. I was trying get them aimed last night but my neighbor at the end of the street didn't seem to appreciate them coming them coming through his windown

decided the tan bumper/grill combo was a bad idea:

Spent a little time in the sand. Was able to climb the bowls with a good run at them. Sure could use a few more ponies under the hood. But over all had a great time. The missus tried to get a few pics from the back but was holding on with both hands most of the time

After hitting some of the whoopdidoos my back is telling me it is time to scrap the junk yard seats and pick up some PRP or Corbeau suspension seats

Great pics, DZ! Really looking forward just seeing how much you like those seats. Well, first I gotta see which ones you get! Hahaha. Are you a big guy or more average? Even when I was really fit, my doc and shoulders are just too wide, and the pollsters and a totally digging into my ribs. It is absolutely agonizing after too long. The other problem though is that I severely broke my tailbone about 15 years ago... Needless to say after about 4 hours in a car seat I don't care how comfortable it is it can get a little bit painful and I need to pull off anyway. But some of the newer cars with the firm steel bottom with no springs... Holy crap they killed me in the few instances that I've had to drive long distances in them. Under my seat covers of my 1st gen sr5 seats I have a pillow that works amazing. It's basically like a wedge that helps keep the spine straight and the pressure off the tailbone. I also went to Joann's fabrics and grabbed 1 inch heavy duty super dense foam and cut it out to fit the backrest portion all the way up to the top. It basically comes up the lower back and then spreads out after the bolsters... I also have to say one of the best mods I ever did on the seats is to use those plush 87 through 91 or so Camry 5 Way adjustable headrests. they support the neck 10 times better... I mean if people want to drive 5 to 10 hours without any support behind the neck... Have at it! Lol... All those things together I've managed to make my SR 5 drivers seat pretty comfortable. The passenger seat is basically like new.

Ha Mark- don't hold your breath. Probably gonna be a bit before I can finangle some $$ from the missus for a set of seats. I could stand to lose about 30 pounds so a set of the wider seats would probably be a good idea but I would like to still be able to recline the seats, with the clearance required for the cage I am gonna be limited by width. I might get lucky and score a deal on pirate.

Yeah, I hear ya. Hope you get what you are looking for! I'll keep my eyes peeled!

Got my Blue Sea Systems 12pin block.... bunch of other stuff..... I'm ready to start on the CBWX75-ST, Rock Lights, Roof Lights & still need to choose an OBA System.. Pretty much between the ARB Twin and V480C-Kit w/tank. ..... I'm excited to get this stuff started but I gotta tell you I would give up plenty to have great seats!

Awesome. I have the Blue Sea box ready to go in too. I think the truck will get some down time over the winter so I can finish up the rear disc rear end and some other misc projects. It has been great DD this thing the last year or so.

Thanks! If you search on ebay for 45w LED spot you will see a few come up. I got lucky and found a guy priced a little lower than most
He had them shipped to me in less than a week from hong kong. There is a guy on pirate selling the same lights but his shipped price to me was more than what I paid.
http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/light...es-lights.html
He has some good pics showing the output. I tried to get night ˟shots but I pissed off my neighbors
You might look at the 60w LED spot lights. They have a bit better output, I would have gone that route my I have limited space where I wanted to mount my lights

I wish I had done this before I headed to the dunes last week.
I installed my power tank mini monster tire deflators today
http://www.powertank.com/products/sf.../productID/445
Total install for four wheels was a little over an hour.
I was nervous drilling into the wheel

I was very Leary about the first one. I still have my other steel wheels in the shed in case this didn't work out.

Nice thing with the 7/16" hole in the rim it will be easy to dump in a few ounces of air soft beads. I thought I had a small scale to use to weigh them but it has disappeared. Will have to pick one up at harbor freight or somewhere.
