You guys will probably notice my mod status dropping offsoon. Been doing it for 3 or 4 years and it has been fun but just been spending way too much time here on a daily basis.

Out of curiosity, is there any monetary gain for moderators?

Yep I thought it was kind of cool too. trail shots would have been better though

what tripped me out a couple of years ago was seeing my truck on TV when I dropped my ballot off at the country sheriff's

Operation: Can of Worms 2

So I started a project today to fix something I think Winnebago screwed up when they designed the trekker bad. They made the tail gate area 5" higher than the floor of bed. Making it a PITA to get stuff in and out of the bed. This project would not be possible if I hadn't scored the rear hatch off the trekker I used the top off of for mock up when I bobbed my bed and canopy. Thanks Paul.

Anyway my plan is to lower the tail gate opening 4" and extend the hatch 4"
Weather and scheduling depend I plan to have this done in 3 weeks.. (fingers crossed)

Rob is at it again! You sir, have the biggest set of cojones on here when it comes to your "hey, I don't like that so let me cut it out and fix it the way it should be" ideas! But I agree, the tail gate on the Trekkers were designed stupidly high. I'm interested to see how this works out for you.

So, this is a super old post but I was wondering if you can explain your steering fixes a bit more. My steering feels tight but wanders. I want to swap to high steer too, but need to replace my inverted front leaves first which won't happen any time soon...

Thanks!

If your leaves are inverted you castor could be off. Use an angle finder on the top of your knuckle where the bearing caps are. Castor should be 6* (raising toward front of truck). Castor has almost everything to do with the truck feeling like it wants to wander.
Could be other worn parts as well, but you mentioned your leafs are inverted, which tells me the castor angle has changed.
