copilot?

There is a slight chance that I may be able to sweet talk my wife into letting me go. The only thing is that I may have to leave the runner behind (currently our only vehicle that the carseat fits in), so I may have to just drive my truck up. Does anyone have room for a copilot for the runs and I could shoot pics and take video? I am working on getting my wife a vehicle for the weekend, but we'll see. Thanks,
Chris

Surfr,
I have 4 Cameras to run so if there is someone that is confident running them I'm MORE than happy to have you along. Last I heard we were going to be having around 15 rigs on sat and over 30 while running with the TTORA group so I'm SURE there will be plenty of extra seating. So if the wifey lets you come on down!

Voodoo,
Wohoo, better late than never

Side note,
be sure and check out the new wallpaper/teasers form the AZ run yesterday. They will be going up within the next half hour or so... if you need a link check the sig!

Hey Austin, if you need people to help out with the cameras, My girlfriend is pretty solid. SHe'd be riding with me, so you could spread out your perspective. Just thought I'd offer if you need some help.

There should be no shortage of cameras on hand. My wife is also pretty good with one so I will extend the same offer my associate, Seth, has and farm out cheap labor.

LOL

Death and EC,
Awesome! I have a card reader that will read almost anything plus all sorts of cables so if you are willing to donate pictures I'll be happy to grab copies. We can also play musical camera/camera people so we can make sure everyone gets some good cam time. I have three video cameras and one still cameras and I'll primarily be using two of the video cameras (so I can cut between the two) and the other two will be available to be passed around. I also have a Lipstick camera that I'll proabably attach to one person's rig and leave. It will probably be interesting like inside the wheel well or something. We will have to play that one by ear. Thanks for offering your wives services, I'll try to not let it slip that you were so willing!

I am going to make it! Now I just have to figure out which route to take. Hmmmm.... 18 or 38? Do I need to sign up on the ttora website still or are they assuming we are coming for dinner?

socal80 I'll be heading out to BB friday evening from Krispy Kreme at the Puente Hills Mall (60 freeway). If you would like to meet up please let me know as I will most likely head out from KK around 8pm. I will try to be there earlier if I can get out of work earlier of course.

Thanks!

I still don't know the exact route I should be taking from SD to get there using the 38 instead of 30/330.

Any help?

I know most of you have a CB in the rig, What channel you all want to use for the trip up, I dont want use one that will interfere with those already up there on the trail but also to use to hear others coming up that need help/directions ?.

I also have an extra 40ch 5w handheld that works great for somone else if needed or to swap back and forth on the trailruns.

Rob, take the 15N -> 215N -> 10E
Exit on Orange Street in Redlands. Turn North onto Orange Street and then right onto Lagonia Street (CA-38). Proceed on Highway 38 up the mountain and to Big Bear City turning left onto Big Bear Boulevard. Proceed West to Stanfield Cutoff and turn right (North), crossing the lake to North Shore Drive turning left at this T-intersection. Proceed 1-½ miles to the entrance of the Big Bear Discovery Center.

To get to the campsite, pass the Discovery Center and look for trailhead entrance for the appropriate campsite.

Good directions. I will use these also. :bigclap:

The CB channel is a good thing to get squared away also VOO DOO.

How about Ch 10 for travelers? Then we can monitor people coming in and periodically check as we are driving.
