Both front CV's were so jacked that they were binding, so I torched out the center section.

Tweaked the tinfoil front skidplate and pinched the trans cooler lines that the PO ran between the radiator and the skidplate.

Also, I'm having an issue with axle wrap but I have a fix planned.

 

No problems here except my front turn signals...

16 Rip in the drivers seat Changed to 4 rips

23 Battery is held in by a Bungee Cord

24 windsheild wiper fluid container just sits there and is not bolted in

11. Both headlight bulbs
12. Had to do ISR mod since rubber TB tube cracking.
13. Sealed Throttlebody to manfold

 

leaking axle seal... after that wheel has made squeaking for the last 3 months or so... so maybe bearings also... or an axle shaft, only time will tell

-leaking coolant from a crack in the radiator

-torn shifter boot blows hot ait on hand when its on the shifter
-no lid on consol
-missing passenger side rearview mirror
-dome light doesnt work
-exhaust leaks from the factory welds on flowmaster muffler
-no rear head rests
-leaking brake proportioning valve
-broken exhuast hanger
-no rear wiper
-tail lights faded to pink

 

1989 pickup 4x4 V6 auto

-loose auto shifter (needs bushing)
-rattle in passengers side door
-bubbling drivers side cab corner
-rust hole behind the gas tank door
-drivers side window EXTREMELY hard to roll up or down
-need to change diff oil
-need to grease driveshafts
-dash lights extremely dim with dimmer all the way up (need new bulbs)
-no rust on chassis but i need to coat it before winter comes to keep it rust free
-brake pads

Paint where stripes were is shinier than rest of the paint

I love the truck, but the flimsy dashboard on the 90-95 models should have really been designed sturdier. It's my only gripe. Maybe it has something to do with the truck being assembled in Long Beach@TABC instead of Japan?

 

Injectors 4,5,6 had a leak as well as a leaking fuel line. took $1100 to fix that was with oil change and tune up. my bumper is tweaked. thats about it. good luck with fixing that stuff.

 

broken antenna motor, fog lights are broken and i have a crack in the winshield thats about it with 132K miles

i just have an indent where a clock WOULD be, (if there was one)

 

Antenna, and its my fault i drilled into it putting my snorkel on

 

i have two gashes in my radiator due to a rock and no front bumper due to an accident!!

 

My front air mix control motor is broke.......$130 to replace....don't think so

My sway bar and steering rack bushings are shot, but will be replaced this week with poly bushings

Whats broken on mine?

rear interior plastic is all gone because it was cracked and broken so i took it out.

valve cover leaks.

needs brakes done.

rusty dented bed.

heater only blows on high and it blows pine needles and crap at me.

drivers side seat is pretty worn out.

cracked windshield.

worn out suspension mostly in the front.

thats about it nothing real big to complain about. i love my truck and hopefully will never have to sell it.

 

Oh ya I forgot...my front rotors are warped, damn cheap a$$ autozone rotors

 

It has low compression on cylinder #3
The rear main leaks oil
the high-beam indicator does not work
the left light has a puddle of water in it
the right light has a hole in it
5th makes a weird noise
miscellaneous other engine noises
The fast idle is screwed up bad
I'm not sure how well the choke works
It idles kinda rough when cold
Surface Rust
