Front swaybar bushings worn out. I will fix'em as soon as I decide on factory or aftermarket urethane?

94-
Front swaybar missing (took it off since it don't do squat to help on the trail or the road)
Trip odometer (hit the reset button too hard once and broke it)
body damage
87-
Body damage
transmission console cracked (bought it like that)
tailgate latch for right side mechanism (need to go to boneyard and find one) but the tailgate is off anyhow-going to the net for my 94.
dashboard illumination (the instrument panel works, but not the ventilation, or shifter indications)

[QUOTE=4x4Lamm]Seeing all these rich kids at school with brand new cars is getting me depressed lately. I love my 4Runner but I also would love for it to work 100%.[QUOTE]
Just place your front drivers side tire in the middle of a ricer hood . Any thing that may be wrong with your 4runner, just won't matter.

I'm soooooo tempted everyday. One part of the parking lot is a sort of gravel and sometimes with an auto locker you can't help but kick a few stones. I get some real nasty looks. I just can't see why these kids get BRAND NEW cars. At least I know what all those "doohickeys" and "thingamabobs" under the hood do.

Where to begin...

Holes rusted through the floorboards
Holes rusted through the sides and bottom of the bed
Clutch master cylinder leaks
It is painted with Herculiner and it is flaking off badly
The alternator light and brake light stay on whenever it is running
Drivers side brake light won't work - yes I replaced the bulb
Really crappy redneck exhaust
Bad front end vibration with hubs locked
Broken windshield - I mean really, really cracked all over, not a little chip
Sliding rear window broken latch
Shifter is broken, you can twist it all around
Radiator mounts are broken
Leaks oil
Loose u-joint in the front
No e-brake
No sway bar - like I would leave it on anyways!
Bad idler bearing pulley

That is about all I can think of for now. Heck I only paid $300 for it. I have done a ton of work to it, two engine swaps and pulled the tranny once. It actually runs really good, a hell of a lot better then it did when I got it. I have almost no money invested in it. It is an 83 so solid front axle. It will wheel with the best of them, and no worries about hurting it! Actually a damn reliable beast.

Not to brag... but almost *nothing* is wrong with mine. I go through upper and lower ball-joints enough to keep Toyota in the $$, and I need to get a new Pitman arm. Aside from that and the tranny I had put in, my 4x4 has been almost perfect. Awesome piece of machinery.

Here's the list off the top of my head....If I do some more looking I could probably find more. But with 227000 miles it's not doing too bad.

Replace the windshield (it's really pitted)
Fix the Tranny (It's about to die)
Replace the shocks
Replace all the bushings (most of them are about dust)
Passenger side valve cover leaks
Battery is starting to have issues
Rear diff is starting to leak
Passenger side window switch doesn't roll the window down only up

Need to add a brush guard, lights, hi lift jack, cb.

I've got a couple things gone wrong with my '83 4x4. Well...
1. My defrost wont work on the left side. Once I flip on the defrost things will clear up accept for the left side of the windshield and my drivers window. I'm not sure why...
2. My drivers side floorboard is getting wet durring rain! I can actually feel the water dripping onto my feet right around where the gas pedal is. And I'm pretty sure its not due to a faulty windshield gasket...

Other than that I can't think of anything right now. Can anyone give me some ideas to fix these problems?
