Heh, mine is missing both side panels, the tailgate is being "straightened" (was wavy) no interior except dash and seats, valve cover gaskets leak slightly, needs new shocks, rear leafs sagging, windshield is cracked, needs paintjob (Primer black front panels, bondo to smooth the tailgate and gelcoat white rear panels)...
other than that it's mint.

1. Suspension squeak (not broken, just annoying).
2. Timed "chink" like a rock or something is stuck in one of the hub nut caps.
3. Missing a knob on the rear heater lever.
4. Header cross-under pipe is exposed. I need a cross-under brace welded in.
5. Tracks straight but the steering wheel is slightly to the left.
6. Vibration at 68-72 MPH (really annoying).

97 Taco
Leaking rear diff plug (ripped out on Rubicon in July and sorta put back in)
nagging electrical drain (if i don't drive it every week the batt dies)
Dirtier than a mofo
have new gears and a front ox locker to put in
Bent axleshafts (both rear ones)
need new belts
need to realign OBA compressor
Brakes dive to the right under hard braking
Need to have the colar on the rear driveshaft replaced (got smacked on the Con)
need a new front driveshaft (totally destroyed on the con)
Drivers seat is ripped
need alignment

96 4Runner
rear window button doesn't work all the time

84 Tercel wagon
Leaking valve seals (hopefully going to replace them this week)

that's it

Out of all my car's the Taco needs the most work, mostly because i beat the piss out of it. But none of them have ever let me down...

Not to much is wrong with my 88'.

-drivers side door gets stuck (must slam full body weight on it to open)
-passanger side door (must use two hands simultaneously to unlock
and open)
-needs some interior work not too much though just the doors, &
headliner.
-needs new skins bad (like I'm running bald)

Now the 80' is a whole nother story

-axle seals leak on front so bad it looks like a murder scene.
-shocks are blown (guy that had it before me drilled holes in them, I'm
having a hard time with the mentality behind this one)
-got a few (by few I mean many) small rust issues.
-need to replace one body mount under the cab.
-needs new exhaust from the header back
-needs some tranny work
-no sound system
-as far as A/C goes its not there but thats fine by me.

That would be the short list of my rigs issues. They will all get worked out in their own time.

I did the emergancy break on the 80' last week so it didn't need to be listed as an issue. Starting slow but will have the funds soon to do a lot of the much needed work. Come on salvage yard get me some new donors.

Right... I forgot about the power antenna being broken... any advice on what kind I should replace it with? I was looking at the shorter rubber coated ones... but, then again... how is the reception on those???

Do the Taco antenna mod. I just did it and it works great.

The short rubber antennas have horrible reception.

(Not sure if you can do this on a 91 or not...)
