reverse went out

 

this is going to be depresing i will start in the front and work my way back
1 front bumper is loose but mainly in the driver side when you push on it it wiggles with about 2" of play and kinda springy (PO aparently enjoyed stripping bolts
2 uses about a quart of oil per gas tank
3 oil pan gasket leaks
4 missing smog parts
5 fuel gauge works till half tank and drops past E
6 temp reading never says even warm
7 internal light works but i have to say nive things to it while i mess with the broke switch
8 missing shell bolts (1st gen 4runner) not an issue now but in oct when it goes back on it will
9 shifter has LOTS of play in it
10 tranny grinds into 4th almost every time
11 front seats suck
12 rear seat driver side wont lock into possition unless i have a flathead screwdriver nearby
13 PO primmered just the passenger door had over spray to the rear and missed a spot in the middle of the door WTH?
14 plastic inside fender walls (dont know what they are realy called) are way loose and are gonna get pulled and replaces with alum diamond plate
15 right rear brake cylinder leaks slightly ( have to refill the master cylinder about every 2-3 months
16 rear window will not close
17 rear tires are good for another 6 moths maybe
18 reg is due next month
and last but far from least
19 the wallet that rides in the driver seat is always empty

 

just remebered
parking brake light is either always on or off
check enegine light comes on after about 5 min on the freeway
and missing a bolt from the pass seat

 

maybe you should say whats right with it, that would probably be a shorter list.

 

Now that was funny.

 

its not a toyota if theres nothing wrong with it.. but i have no reverse, i burn 1/4 of my oil in one tank of gas. dome lights dont work

 

Rear wiper (it's completely missing the arm)
Rear window (died last week in a store parking lot, awesome.)
Rear Drivers side window
Sometimes it Vapor locks.... not sure why or how to fix this but I would LOVE to get that taken care of. It sucks. Especially cause of how hot it has been here lately.

 

My rear anti-lock brake light stays on,
not sure where the leak is, but I have to add some coolant every couple days,
and the dome light doesn't work....

That's about it I think, not to bad!!!!

 

front sway bar mounts are shot, so the front end squeaks every time i hit a bump. And the serpentine belt is loose(?) so it squeals when i shift, give it a lot of gas, and when i turn the a/c on when its been sitting in the hot sun for a while. and finally a broken headlight.

 

the only thing that is broken on my truck is hearts and minds...

no power steering
no a/c
no tailgate

 

My CB antena spring base makes noise, dose that count.

 

i get to add this to the list as of today the little plastic clamp that holds down my seatbelt buckles in the back of my extra thanks little brother (instead of slideing it out he just yanked till it snaped out ) options options jb weld or some glue idk aghhhhhh

 

The antenna for the radio has been ripped or cut off. But thats minor

 

found more stuff broke on my runner
drivers seatbelt plastic thingy got crunched in the door and is now 2 plastic thingys
front alingment is off and wearing hard on the inside driverside tire and the right rear speaker is laying in the bed but still works
and the dash light went out 2 days ago

just found a crack between the #2 exahaust valve and adjacent water jacket

 

1995 4runner SR5 3.0L 2WD
-Engine overheated and wont stay running but will start.
-Auto transmission does not shift into correct gears. I have to do it manually D: 1,2,ODrive
-Passenger door does not unlock electronically
-Back window does not roll down with the key
-Need a sick new off road bumper

 

-power mast antannae
-rear cupholder
-HVAC bulb burnt out
-cracked windshield

The windshield and power antannae happened on my holidays just last week, and I'm switching to a Taco whip style when I fix it. The windshield might wait until spring, the crack doesn't seem to be getting any worse.

 

Mother Effer... Yesterday the transmission fluid cooler hose started leaking. Pretty sure that the hose touched the muffler and it melted the coating. Luckily it seems like a pretty simple fix.... but we'll see.
