Drivers side door switch doesn't register. (fixed with a couple of rare earth magnets)
Drivers side wing-window latch broken (fixed with cable ties)
Driver and passenger seatbelt buckles flakey. (they work, you just have to .. finesse them make sure they're working!)
Oil gauge reads low, perpetually.
Need new balljoints.

... for a 14 year old truck with 241K miles, not a hell of a lot!

*edits to add* Stock radio was bad. still trying to get a wiring harness rigged for my aftermarket. For now my radio is a pair of computer speakers and an MP3 player.

my problem is an excesively worn cam lobe. (just one the others are fine) so i have a very obnoxious lifter tick. and no a/c or stereo. and i thnk the bushing were shifter meets the gearbox is worn away, shes picky wen i put her in first. ok i lied the other side of my pic is the bad side. my fender and door are smashed on the passenger side. friggin' blazerz!

if it's the same type of split/crack i have, there are a few fixes for that.

broke stuff today:

headlight bezel broke
front valence mangled
front bumper bent
RF signal lens cracked
RF turn signal losing continuity intermittently
tailgate dented
rear bumper bent
RF fender dented
rear wiper washer inop
driver's recline and lumbar controls inop
dash split
cig lighter NLA
ashtray NLA
rearview shaky and stripped
hardtop cracked and leaking

this list is short because i sacrificed my wallet to the Gods of Yota over the last 2 yrs. but the "wish list" of improvements, rather than repairs, is still waaay long.

Idle issues. can't locate engine ground. timing may need to be set back a touch as I think the PO advanced it too far. need to retrace all the wiring because the PO was sloppy. I've had this truck for less than a week, I'll find more broke stuff.

update, Fuel pump assembly came in (didn't fit quite right but made it work) Got all the lumber for the bed.. doing that tomorrow. Exhaust leak left needs tires and fuses for the radio most likely need to be replaced.

My digital clock doesn't work-removed the dash-there is plug coming from the wire harness for it. I called the previous owner and she said it never worked. A friend & I field stripped the dash and could not find any wires unplugged. There simply is nothing to hook up to the factory clock! We are stumped.

do you mean the female connector on the back of the clock is still there? that's great!

so just hard wire that puppy in there. 88 FSM indicates 4 wires, pin 4 is a red/green to ACC + (cig), pin 3 is Black/white to your constant +(dome), pin 1 is white/black to ground (body), and pin 2 is green to your tail light fused circuit (dimmer).

enjoy that new clock!

-Very annoying electrical gremlin with right turn signal and brake lights
-low idle at warm startup
-sloppy body + motor mounts
-as previously posted, no naked girls
other than that, it's a solid rig

Sigh. Right tailgate latch does not lock. The fork free-pivots.

I guess I'll have to fiddle with it this weekend to see what broke.

Fortunately it does not affect the window operation.
