1.Rust (obviously!).
2.Rear driver's side window doesn't work. Needs new motor/actuator.
3.Rear passenger's window acting very SLOW. Try not to use...(see N#2).
4.Steering pressure hose still needs to be replaced...
5.MPG, although not sure if that can be fixed

Valves need to be adjusted on my '90 4Runner. I think.. makes a weird noise when going into higher RPMs.

- AC blows hot air
- Holes in muffler
- Crack in windshield

Nothing major for an almost 16 year old truck with 183K.

My rear passenger window only works when the dog is in the car and my sunroof is broken, the key switch in the tailgate doesn't work, and the front passenger window will only roll up from the driver side. My problems are all electric window related. . . well, that and the deadlined engine, but it *does* run, just makes a horrible racket and spits out all its oil.

That'd be your timing. You're going to need a timing light. Then it's as easy as turning the distributor cap til you hit your engines spec.. or wherever you want it.

BTW, how do you know it's at 36 deg BTDC?

Starter was hosed (would stick and not engage), replaced it with a used one.

Now I'm working on the A/C. So far, 4Runner: 2 - me: 0.

I've "just given it a shot" and that didn't hold, so I replaced the hoses, evacuated, and tried again, still no hold. Next paycheck will produce a UV dye kit and the electronic CFC/HFC/HCFC sniffer.
