To do list:
- Timing Belt - (Not broken but found out it has 120k mi on it)
-Replace rear axle bearings
-Replace windshield
-Replace auxillary crossmember
-Replace main skid plate
-Replace right valve cover gasket
-Replace Cat

However, at 178k it gets me from point A to point B well.

My heater temperature control cable is broken, and my ARB is leaking air inside the front axle.

Nothing!! Can you believe it? I am running out of projects....

Yoder- pull your cruise contol actuator out from under the hood. open it up. you will find cracks in the rubber diaphragm that hold a vacuum. Seal it up with rtv, put it back together, watch your cruise work again!!

I can't remember who posted that, but I ripped mine apart and lo and behold, it was cracked. now it works like new!

With my 1995 I think this thread title should be "What is broken on YOUR Toyota....TODAY???"

Submitted for your approval, the latest fun little adventure from my basket case:

The right bank of the exhaust manifold....slightly warped:

Wow this thread has been going for 6 years lol.. I'll add my list. My 97 has a small drivers side valve cover leak in the rear. It's not bad maybe I go through 1/2 a quart between oil changes and it burns off. I thought about getting it fixed but I figure when my timing belt etc needs to be done in 50K the cost of the two repairs will justify a rebuild 3.4 (at that time it will have 280K on it). I wish I has a local yoda wrenching buddy to work with I'd enjoy replacing the valve cover gaskets and doing the timing belt water pump hoses belts etc. The front brakes will need to be done this year. Just replaced the windshield added a rola roof basket and will be adding some AWC Raptor wheels soon. I also will be adding the transmission cooler I bought 6 month ago. Sigh.. I love my yoda!!!

The entire wiring harness from my '79 is ripped out in its entirety, lying on my garage floor.

And the springs are flat. But only on the drivers side...
