Engine light one, still haven't gotten around to pulling the code
Lower control arms rotted
Right side needs ball joints
No power steering (99% sure it's the pump thats leaking)
Rear window kinda off track, works but you have to help it by hand
Radio shuts on and off if there is no cd in the cd player(stock setup)
Left dogleg rotted/smashed off
Rear bumper is held togher by the plastic trim on the top and Herculiner
Have yet to feel the transmission go into overdrive
Misc dents and normal rust

I know minor things compared to some things said but might as well add it in.

Can't figure out how to reply to a particular post. I saw a couple of folks with parts on the tranny broken. I have a tranny from a 1992 22re stick 5 speed. The seal leaked after a clutch replacement and as a result I ran it dry, still worked but constantly jumped out of gear. It has been buried in my termite invested storage sheed for several years. I am about to empty that shed and burn it. In short, free to a good home if anyone can use it, rebuild it. Nashville TN area. Shot me an email skyratcalls@yahoo.com. Do I need to say it, will not ship, you must pick up and help me dig it out from under all the junk.

I just had a thought, I really need a stock radio #76203, and a rebuilt a/c compressor, a trade would be great, but still free to a good home if you don't have the radio. Just a thought.

Rust!
Living near the ocean is not everything it is cracked up to be.
I may end up cutting my sliders off, grinding them down, coat of primer then paint and put em back on.

my 86 pickup has a passenger window that doesn't move up or down
the driver side window pops out of the track
it has the idle problem that many others have had
has a bad headgasket which caused the motor to hydrolock
and the front tires are bald

probably more if i think on it

My 81 has held up pretty good for all the abuse I put it through. The only thing I've broke in seven years of wheeling it is this..
Last Feb., I thought I blew a head gasket. During the teardown, I noticed a hole in the bottom of the head under the cam, and a bolt laying there also. It turns out that the bolt was from the baffle in the valve cover. It got under a cam lobe and puched a hole through the head into a water jacket. I found an 87 motor and rebuilt it.
Last wheeling trip I went on to Independence, I broke the gears in my front doubler, found out I have a SEVERLY bent front axle, and a broken rear brake line.
New front axle is prepped and will get the knuckle gusseted (last one wasn't)
Santa should bring some marlin 4.7's and a longfield output.

EDIT: I did break a passenger side knuckle not long after the hydo assist went in. HA makes the steering arms loosen up BAD.
Replaced both knuckles with six stud knuckles and arp studs

91 SR5 hmm, lets see...

- IFS
- No rust other than the tailgate
- Passenger fender is smashed in, eh who cares
- A/C doesn't work
- Sunroof motor gears are shot, oh and it leaks too
- New driver side CV is already splattering grease in my wheel well
- Exhaust leaks everywhere
- Motor mounts are permafvcked; the truck shakes like a mofo
- I can't find the wiring to make the power antenna work
- Power mirrors are shattered and the harness under the switch is fubar
- The third member has a huge hole in it and i can see chunks of ring and pinion in there
- The whole truck needs to be geared down so i can get more than 8mpg, this has been an ongoing project for 6 months and i keep getting shafted
- Tires are worn to hell
- I found chocolate milk under my oil cap yesterday... probably a headgasket, yay 3.slow!
- Braking power seems to be extemely subpar for some unknown reason (i've tried all sorts of things)
- I was turning a corner late last night and something popped and i lost all ability to steer, sending me into someone's yard. With the help of a couple of my friends at each wheel we got the truck out of the yard and relatively out of the way. Pitman arm!? EDIT: Just went and looked at it, the drag link off the pitman arm snapped in half, wtf!

I'l be happy if i can just get it to steer and have 4x4 again

This is from 2 weeks ago:: front driveshaft twisted
broke 3 out of 4 rear driveshaft bolts out
the left rear axle bearing
lost all breaks and ran over the dog kennel coming in the driveway
Now the parts I installed 2 days later:: radiator, front u-joints, rear u-joints and bolts, new carb, fixed wiper motor, pulled altenator and completely cleaned to get some more life out of it. loosing tranny fluid again, and rear end oil, but it will still out pull a ford

time for new brakes: including front lines, pads and rotors. My brakes are real spongy and it takes a while to come to a complete stop. I also have the "notorious" front end shimmy when applying the brakes!!

My truck - '87 Runner.
The problem right now, which I'm having problems diagnosing, is my rear defroster. Its not working, the switch doesn't light up when I press it, and its important because there is a lot of snow here. Anybody have ideas (pretty sure its not the fuse).
The rear wiper doesn't work real well either. Never actually touches the glass, that's a little less mysterious to me.

1995 Toyota 4x4
lets see... when i bought it i fixed the radiator, heater, front tires and removed a bunch of stickers from the paint cause it was a company truck.
now it needs;
clutch, complete set along with the rubber pedal thing
back tires, they are just crap and dont match
new paint job, have some rust in the bed and you can see the outline where the stickers were
corner bulbs
my rims are rusty so i need to paint them gloss black
the battery connection is kinda off so sometimes it wont start unless someone is wiggling the negative terminal.
major sag in the back... but it sags more on the back right side for some reason.
back bumber either need a hammer or replaced cause PO tried towing with stock ball and ripped it, well, off.
oh and most important new cv axles, at least i think thats what i need. when i crank the wheel all the way and start to turn the truck makes a wierd kinda clunking sound coming from the front axle. Any help?
Thats all for now i guess... oh and the truck only has 152800 miles. HAHA
