Nope. Mine still works just fine. Both of the front two (right above my mirror; I have the SR5) and the one right between the cab and removable top still work.

 

Oh, ok. I've never taken mine out..as much of an annoyance it is..I never forget my keys

 

i was told the dome light stops working if you remove the buzzer i think, so modding the buzzer would keep it their but for the dome light but get rid of the annoyance

 

I just ran outside and checked all my interior lights...all okay with the buzzer gone!

 

ok then i guess modding it is to keep it in the truck with out it working..... i have no clue.

 

When I meant modding, I meant getting one from another car that's a little more "pleasant" to the ears and mod it to work in place of the stock one.

another cheap mod i have on the way are seat covors...did anybody notice woodland camo seat covors are like $200?

my momma's in the process of sewin me up a custom tailer fitted (?) woodland camo seat covor...and the best part is, shes making a matching set out of fleece for when i drive in the winter with the doors off!! JK, but hey, i have quick release doors now, so maybe.

 

picking this up tomorrow, damned good idea...will hard wire to the door switch

 

I don't know how durable those will be, also, it will be very important to pay attention to which wire is going where, one will be backwards to the other.
