im looking for tire advice!!!
i currently have 33"x12.50r15's one blew on my last offroad trip. my original plan was to just replace the one. but these tires arent the best tires anyways so i figure i should see what u guys recomend. i want to stick with 33" as my 3.0 barely pushes these as it is lol. i have looked into the bfg mud terrains and a few other options like toyo open countries and even super swampers. what do you guys recommend. let me know . any info will be appreciated. thanks

Does a tire choice have anything to do with 86-95 Trucks & 4Runners? No.
if you SEARCHED, you'd find at least 30+ threads asking the same exact question.
"what do you guys recommend"? has been asked a hundred or more different ways.
sorry, but your question has been beat to death and belongs in the newbie section or the 'General Vehicle Related' section. It's not THAT hard to figure out where to place a new thread or search.

hey kyle. i have the bfg all terrains on both my trucks. as you know, my truck was unstoppable. they also have a super thick sidewall, and i do believe that you would have never had the problems that you had, if you had my tires. you may want to look into the BFG mud terrain or the all terrains. the goodyear mt/rs are nice also

Rocket is right, this post has been beat to death and is a can of worms. No need for name calling or shouting.
Everyone has their favorites, it mainly has to do with how much on road vs off road you are doing and what type of terrain you see offroad. That said, my favorites are BFG ATs or MTs and Buckshot Mudders.

Well, since he posted the question, I'll at least give him my opinion.
I've been running 31-10.5-15 Hankook MTs on various trucks (87 Pathfinder, 70 International Scout 800A, 89 Toyota Hilux) over the years and they give me great performance on the trail, on country roads and highway use. For $100 per tire it's pretty difficult to beat the Hankook MTs.

I currently have BFG muds for summer and Toyo A/T for winter. The A/T is worthless on the trail. The BFG has excellent road manners and is great off road.
I had 33 TSL Bias, dont reccomend them for street use, my 35's are easier to turn. I dont like the 33 TSL Radial since the center lugs don't have a gap.
It's a little shorter (.3 taller than a 32 BFG, and .7 shorter than a 33 BFG) and narrower but the 32X10.50 TSL Radial has been on of my all-time favortie tires, from trail to road, to snow/ice It was a great tire. When I sold them at 25K they still had 65% tread. And it fits on a 15x7 perfectly, at 50psi the footprint is flat..which means much better mileage.

I would go with BFG All Terrains in 33 x 10.50 x 15.
Good, solid, all around performing tire. Thick sidewalls, good looks, winter rating.
Also, reducing the width to 10.5 will give you a little better gas mileage, a little easier for the engine to turn, will be a cheaper tire than the 12.5 width, and turn a little nicer, plus be a little better in the snow.

thank you, rocket. and thanks for your help too.
and yes 4x4nala, this topic comes up so often that it does get a bit tiresome when such a generic question comes up. asking what tires to buy is like asking "what is a deckplate mod". you WILL get told to search.
and seriously, when someone more senior than you tells you to search, don't get bent out of shape or take it personally. its an internet forum---we're not the only people in the world who might tell you to search. learn from the guys who've been around the block.
moved to newbie land...

Hey, the only reason I said what I did was you initial responce looked like you were being an ass, and it looked like you did your research because you were called on it....
And I shouldnt reply since I gave advice on it right???
There are better ways to say search....

Called on it...did i miss something or are you just gonna start assuming things now?
I researched to SHOW whats already been posted and for future noobs that are bound to ask the same question again.
Why reply when its been coverd a billion times? Obviously you haven't been around for the last 2 years to see that my so-called "ass" response is used in similar ways by other members for people that don't use common sense. What i said was meant to be helpful, not harmful.
Have a nice day nala.

well obviously this thread has caused alot of arguements. i should have researched and found this somewhere else. but u know there are better ways to tell the newer guys to post in the right spot. i figured being that my truck is a 94 i may catch the attention of other 94 owners. anyways if u go back and rea the first reply to this thread u can see how this guy was being very sarcastic and replying with a rediculous attitude. thanks to everyone who gave advice. im looking towards bfg for sure now probably the mud terrains. anyways there are just a few guys i would prefer not to meet on the trail. why people have to be jerks is beyond me.
