265/75's here. They are a load range D, so they are very stiff. Too stiff, in my opinion as they don't give a good road feel. But they wear very well, have great dry/wet/snow traction, etc. Good tire.

If I get tired of these, I'll be going back to REVO's.

I would get the Nittos b/c they are cheaper. I can't stand that the Revos hold little rocks and pebbles in the tread. It always anoyed me. Plus, i know WT has been running them for over 40k miles I think.

Pull the trigger and start your own review Alen should have you straight next week.

Andy (bamachem) also had them and loved their performance. I say they are the best bang for the buck. IMO making them a better choice them some of the YT standards

I'm running the 295's they are a great on-road tire and work well for moderate wheeling. They are quiet and seem to be wearing well.

b/c aside from one tire marked D, they all have no destinction EXCEPT the E load range. Plus, I don't see how those stupid low prices could be for the E--they are $$$$

I have the 295/75/16's... They have been good so far. Only had them for less than 1k miles though.

LT295/75 R16 = 33.27X11.73 IMO These are more like a true 33".

LT285/75 R16 = 32.68X11.33. Which is closer to a 32" tire.

You can actually see the difference between these and a 285 and it IMO actually makes a difference on the trail.

I think a 1" BL and some trimming is necessary.

Well I came from 265/75/16 Revo AT's so your MT's should look beefier... But there is a huge difference. The 295/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers are 33.27"x11.73".

hmm...i wonder if i should get the 295s and do the body lift later. there isnt a much of a price difference. But with my 4.10 gearing..its going to be even more sluggish that the 285s no?
Also, are all terras' LT?

I don't think you will be able to drive around without a bodylift... That sucker will rub like hell. I have a 2" BL and did some trimming and still have some slight rubbing... I still need to trim and pound the pinch weld area some more... It will probably be a little sluggish but it shouldn't be that noticable... Yes the NTG's are LT's.

They're not bad on the road at all. No louder/quieter than the Revo's. But the Load Range D is way more than the 4Runner needs - they are darned stiff. Combined w/ the aftermarket SWAY BARS, my truck has zero body lean.

edit: oops.

I also have the D load range and yes, they are a bit stiff but it just feels like a truck so I don't notice it too bad and the road noise isn't bad for a decent AT tire and with the radio on even a low level you don't hear the tires.
I also got to try them in the snow just the other day and they definetly had better grip on slick surfaces than my Yokohama Geolandars and their dry grip is comparable to the Yoks which was very good.
