I had another great trip out to Hidden Falls in Texas this past weekend. Went out with my buddy Kenneth. He drove his stock (besides some 31" tires) 87 4Runner. Such a blast.

I don't get why the forum keeps doing that to my posts. I'm using the BBCode generated by Flickr.

Flicker, like Yahoo interface, is cluttered and not user-friendly. Photobucket works better.

However, experiment... try this:

Click "share" Copy BB or HTML Code:

"[less than symbol]a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/ocell/8659827010/" title="A Climb by Ocell, on Flickr">[less than symbol]img
src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8119/8659827010_ec45fa437f.jpg" width="375" height="500" alt="A Climb"></a>

Ignore URL between [less than symbol] and [less than symbol]img

Use only URL after "src" and between quotation marks (in yellow above)
Or the URL that ends with the ".jpg"

Insert between [img] and [/img]

Or right-click photo, "inspect Element". From new window opened copy URL ending with with ".jpg"

BTW, is Kenneth sportin' Goodyear Duratrac's above? How did they work for you on mud? Loose dirt?

I have duratracs on one of my company trucks. I really like them and so far there great. We use the truck for farming so it see quite a bit of mud driving on the farms muddy and hilly Terrain

Yeah, I'm using the right code. The forum software is changing my code after I post, taking out the image tags. I don't know why. Maybe I'm putting too many images in one post?

Thanks for taking the time to respond anyway.

And yeah, I think Kenneth is using Duratracs. He pinched a sidewall on a rim and tore a hole in it. He was running 15 psi... Not sure how many ply his sidewalls are. Otherwise, he had no trouble with any mud, loose rocks, or wet surfaces.

EDIT:

I've posted the issue here... hopefully a mod will see it: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f92/.../#post52067865

Thanks, OCell. Yes, weak sidewall seems a typical complaint. IIRC, duratracs have less ply / less sturdy sidewall compared to BFG all-terrains.

Why would you need to lift the body or have a hood scoop for that motor? My hunting partner has a 94 Toyota that he installed the 3.4 V6 without a body lift or a hood scoop.
