$6000 to fix it. I gave Betsy to my son in law who is going to give it to my grandson when he's old enough to drive! It's been a reliable truck free from rust since I bought it new in 1992.

Thumbs up My '92 Pickup with some mods

Below are photos taken today of my '92 Pickup purchased in 1993. Engine has 153K miles on it and has always been meticulously cared for. I replaced the timing chain at 100K miles, just to cover having to worry about it. About 8 years ago I decided to restore the looks better than new, so got it a 3K paint job (dark forest slight metal flake green) and a Rhino coated the inner bed. I picked out some nice tires and rims, and had the seat reupholstered with better than stock foam and a stain resistant fabric. Next I had the side windows tinted with ceramic tint (keeps it cooler in summer) and added a strip of tint top of front window.

I detailed the engine bay and installed a cold air system replaced the stock tubes with blue silicone and matching spark plug wires. I installed hydraulic hood struts that lift the hood 4 U when you lift it about 6 inches (you can see it/them in the engine photo) The radiator had a tiny leak so it is new. I pulled the valve cover and painted it in red wrinkle paint. My latest project finished last week, was to install super bright LED signals all around and replace the stock headlights with LED. I also replaced the amber front signals with clear and the rear with smoked (still brighter than stock with the super bright LED running, backup and turn signal bulbs. I also installed a Flowmaster 40 series muffler that sounds very cool.

I LOVE my truck!

My ‘91 pickup

This was my grandpas truck that he bought back in 2010. I’ve been asking him ever since that whenever he wants to get rid of to let me know. Well as of this past Monday it is officially mine! I only have this one pic right now but will have more later on for sure. The body has 190k miles on it and the motor and transmission has around 85k miles. I honestly don’t know much about what has been done to it if anything besides I believe wheels and tires. I’m excited to learn more about it and enjoy it.
