Old public tracks on the west coast

Taking it slightly beyond the end of the road

Views inland (Wester Ross)

Some flex for a stock IFS

Tracks like this (access to public) are very rare in the Scottish Highlands.

A few shots from an overnight trip with the hound.
Couldn't help but share these here.

Took the 4Runner with some Gambler 500 friends up to an OHV area called Pipestone.
Mostly ATV/UTV and dirt bikes trails but plenty of bigger trails for trucks.
Miles and miles of just mobbing around trails hitting some rocks and hill climbs.

The kind of content we are all here to see! Great looking trails and two awesome trucks, still doing what they were built to do

My 88 Toyota Pickup

Any suggestions for finding parts? Prefer OEM. Need exhaust system, except for CAT. Any guidance will be appreciated!

Went exploring some trails up Moser Creek in the Hyalite area.
They have every trail closed off and gated for forest management work and logging.
Was a little smokey over looking Bozeman.

Where the trail ended with two gates.

This mud hole has always been right off the side of the main road and I have never seen anybody attempt it.
It has a really steep entry and is always full of water which makes me think it's an under ground spring.
Has some logs in it and I bet it would be a damn nasty hole.
I would need bigger tires, more power and a winch to even attempt it.

I did find one little spot to try out the Detroit rear locker. Climbed in 2WD no problem wheel lift and all.

Talking My '92 SR5 V6 4AT

I had to completely replace the front / rear drive shaft and its had it fair share of engine bay / head gasket work, but it is my first and so far only vehicle I've ever owned. It is fully loaded with the complete set of power options one could buy in 1992 and they all still work great!

Post: Can anyone help me out with a good place that does license plate restorations? I prefer the old style California plates over the new ones.

Was quite an involved Job, sorting a Dent in the Bumper Bar along the way, and removing the remainder of that ˟˟˟˟ty Black Paint..

Wrote a Blog Post on it >> https://kingroon.blog/2024/08/14/bumper-crop/

Went up Flathead pass just outside of Bozeman, MT with the boss and his RIVIAN.
Got the RIVIAN to lift a wheel a couple times but man does it do great.
