New OEM bumpers are the best , but theres a saying out there,
Friends dont let other friends Plasti-Dip.
I would, Sand, Primer, Primer again, Then Bedline the bumper. It comes out great and does not peel off, Unless that is ultimately what you are going for. But with my experience, its a great look if done right and helps with rocks, mud ect...
Just a sugestion.

Thanks for all the feedback!
I'm planing to be painting it tomorrow if the weather helps out. Makes me want to return the bumper back and just roll without, my personal opinion it looked better without the bumper. Hopefully the BLACK looks better.
Do really have to sand and prime to spray Bed-liner…?

Whatever you do DON'T roll without it. mine got screwed up and I didn't replace it. I wish I would have. my bed is wasted folded right up like a tin can. bumper would have saved it for sure. It was literally a two mile an hour crash so lame

I know one thing for sure, if you pick the right place, your truck will stop rusting! Lol. I'm not sure if that's a big enough reason to move across the country...But, I will give Los Angeles one thing... It has been awesome throughout my life to be able to surf at 5 in the morning, then drive up and snow ski by 9 AM, hike around a bit and then get down to the lower desert lakes for an hour or more of water skiing/jet skiing...all in the same day! Plus, one of the most amazing trips that I ever had was in/through California.... where I drove from Los Angeles up to Sierra Highway through Mount Whitney and all the hot springs and Mammoth and Convict Lake and Lake Tahoe... And then cut over 2 the North American Fork of the American River in Auburn, then down to Santa Cruz, beautiful mountains up there, and equally beautiful beach... Then head down to Oceano Dunes or Pismo, then end in Carpinteria for a couple of creature comfort days of camping on the beach with pay hot showers in the strawberry festival going on right down on the boardwalk ... That was one of the most incredibly fun trips I've ever had. On the North American Fork River, while camping: We woke up with our tents appearing to be blacked out... It was around 830 in the morning so, that didn't fit... As we unzipped the tents, 1000 off butterflies took off, they were in mating season and going crazy over the colorful tents that we all had. That was quite the unintentional experience, man!
I know there is incredible beauty back east... It's just that many people get tired of waiting up to 8 months to get back to the shorts and sunglasses weather! I lived in northeastern Washington by the border of Canada... It was absolutely gorgeous, and I would love to have a vacation home there. I don't know, maybe move back up into that area someday .... or Oregon... But man were the winters pretty brutal!
